Pedro Pascal has been offered the lead role in the Disney+ "Star Wars" TV series, "The Mandalorian." Unnamed sources told Variety on Tuesday that negotiations with the "Game of Thrones," "Narcos" and "The Great Wall" actor were underway. TheWrap.com, which also reported the news citing anonymous sources, said neither Disney nor Pascal's representatives responded to its requests for comment. "The Jungle Book" and "Iron Man" filmmaker Jon Favreau is writing and producing the project, which will take place between the films, "Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens." The program's title refers to those from the planet of Mandalore, the home world of bounty hunters Jango Fett and his son Boba Fett.
