The Bachelor's Rachel Nance has admitted that she's scared and "nervous" to date again after being dumped on Joey Graziadei's season.

Joey eliminated Rachel in third place after his overnight Fantasy Suite dates on The Bachelor's 28th season, and now she's back in the real world, hoping to eventually find her person.

However, the ICU nurse from Hawaii, who currently resides in California, said she's taking her time and is in no rush to date again.

"I'm honestly not terrified of love. I love being in love, and I think everyone wants to be loved and everyone wants to love someone," Rachel shared on the April 10 episode of the "Golden Hour" podcast co-hosted by Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles.

"I think it's a beautiful part of life and that's how the world goes around, in a sense."

Rachel clarified, "I'm not scared of love, but I am nervous -- a part of me is nervous -- to get back into dating because I don't know if people would think me being on a dating show..."

"They have a whole new impression of you," Susan noted.

"Yeah," Rachel agreed. "They may see me in a different way. Maybe if they watch the show, they'll realize that I'm completely the same on TV and off TV, but I'm really open to anything."

Rachel added, "I just hope people know that my standards may make me look picky, but I'm just not [going to settle]."

While Rachel said she isn't interested in dating someone at work, she definitely would be open to dating someone "in the same career field."

Rachel also wants to break out of her pattern of dating men who end up hurting her.

"I've been in a relationship that was abusive. So my track record, it went from my first love in high school, he cheated on me, and I was like, 'Okay, it happened.' And then I went into an abusive relationship," Rachel admitted.

"And so I really struggled with [trusting] the right people and then they would always, kind of, it would come back to bite me in the end."

Joey, however, proved to Rachel that there are still good men out there.

"When I went on the show and met Joey, even though he wasn't my person, the friendship that we had really taught me that I can open up to somebody and I can trust somebody who can treat me well," Rachel explained.

"So I'm still working on that, but I think I've finally reached the point where I know what I deserve."

Even though she's still single, Rachel said she's "enjoying every moment" of life after The Bachelor, adding, "I didn't expect all the love and support to drown out all the hate, and so it's been really nice."

Rachel's ouster aired during the second half of The Bachelor: The Women Tell All on March 18.

Rachel previously admitted on a late March episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that while her elimination after Fantasy Suites was an emotionally-charged moment, she actually wasn't surprised to be sent home.

"I knew that I was going to go home," Rachel told Bachelor in Paradise spouses Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile.

The Bachelor bachelorette added, "I think towards the end, he and I definitely knew that that's as far as our relationship was going to go."

But Rachel said she got emotional when watching her exit back because she had developed such a wonderful friendship with Joey and her feelings for The Bachelor star "were real."

Rachel also shared, "My natural instinct was me thinking, 'Was I enough? Did I not do enough? Did we run out of time? What was it?' And it was definitely an unspoken understanding that this would be it for us."

Rachel was apparently so sure that Joey was going to dump her, she considered skipping the Rose Ceremony after Fantasy Suites entirely.

"So part of me, I was thinking, 'I know I'm going to go home, maybe I just shouldn't go to the Rose Ceremony,'" Rachel recalled.

Had Rachel not attended the Final 3 Rose Ceremony, Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson would've automatically received Joey's two roses.

When hugging Joey goodbye on the show, Rachel said she could "feel that there was so much love there," adding, "Even though it was a platonic love, that's also my favorite type of love. But it was still hard, and it was hard to watch back."

While Rachel confessed she "wouldn't do" The Bachelor again, she may be open to starring on The Bachelorette or looking for love in Mexico on Bachelor in Paradise.

"I am open to whatever feels right in the moment. As of right now, I'm enjoying everything settling down. I'm enjoying seeing the way things are unfolding, and it's looking amazing for my future," Rachel told Us Weekly last month.

"So we'll see what the future holds, but until then, I'm just going to go home, back to Hawaii and relax on the beach."
