Adele showed off her comedic side Thursday taking part in a hidden camera prank while appearing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
The skit started with a fake assistant entering a local Jamba Juice and informing the employees there that Adele was coming in and that she wanted to be treated like a regular person.
With DeGeneres in her ear telling her what to say, Adele was hilariously portrayed as a confused diva trying to incorrectly order a smoothie from the group of surprised and star struck employees.
"I'll take a large, but in a small cup," Adele says through DeGeneres before explaining that they have a similar smoothie bar in Britain called "Swishy Chug."
Things really take a turn for the bizarre when the daytime host commands the singer to cut and eat a patch of wheatgrass using scissors from her purse much to the delight of the audience. "I feel like a deer in a forest," Adele says while chomping down on the fresh greens.
Adele also sat down with DeGeneres during her appearance on the show to discuss her Grammy Awards performance that was plagued by sound issues due to a piano mic falling down.
"I cried pretty much all day," Adele said of the morning after the performance. "In fairness, I would have cried if it went really well, as well. If it had been a stand out performance I would have cried. I always cry," she said.
