Professional wrestling icon Stone Cold Steve Austin is set to return to the WWE for Raw's 25th anniversary special.

The event, which will be broadcasted live on the USA Network at 8 p.m. ET, is set to take place Jan. 22 at both the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the Manhattan Center in New York, where the first Raw took place.

The Texas Rattlesnake, one of the most legendary Superstars in WWE's history, will be joining other wrestling legends, notable performers and Hall of Famers, such as The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, announcers Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler, Ric Flair, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, The Bella Twins, D-Generation X, The Dudley Boyz, The New Age Outlaws, Ron Simmons and JBL.

Austin was last featured on WWE programming during WrestleMania 32 in 2016, when he teamed up with Michaels and Mick Foley to take down The League of Nations. The New Day then joined the veterans for a celebration before Austin delivered a Stone Cold Stunner to Xavier Woods.

Austin, a six-time World Heavyweight Champion, was a cornerstone of WWE's most lucrative period known as The Attitude Era. He enjoyed classic feuds throughout his career against Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Triple H, Vince McMahon, and Bret Hart, among others.

The Raw 25th anniversary special will also include an Intercontinental Championship match between Roman Reigns and The Miz.
