Universal's "Doom" topped the U.S. box office with $15 million its debut week, boxofficemojo.com estimated Sunday.

"Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story," distributed by DreamWorks, grossed $9.3 million its premiere week, while "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit," also distributed by DreamWorks, made $8.7 million last week for a total box office of $44 million.

"The Fog," made $7.3 million for a total box office of $22 million, while "North Country" grossed $6.4 million its premier week.

"Elizabethtown" made $5.7 million for a total box office of $19 million, "Flightplan" made $4.7 million for a total box office of $77 million and "In Her Shoes" made $3.9 million for a total box office of $26 million.

"A History of Violence" made $2.7 million for a total box office of $26 million and "Two for the Money" made $2.4 million for a total box office of $21 million.
