"It doesn't take a lot of work to make @1SteveBurton look like a badass. #BehindtheScenes #GH #SteveReturnsSept19th," the show tweeted Friday, along with a photo of Burton wearing a black leather jacket and sitting on a motorcycle.

TVLine noted that a new ABC promo for Burton's return to the daytime drama seems to suggest the actor will once again play Jason Morgan, a character who is now portrayed by Billy Miller.

The 15-second clip features Burton in dark clothes and riding a motorcycle with the song "Hold On, I'm Coming" playing in the background.

Burton played Jason on "General Hospital" from 1991 to 2012. After he left, he played Dylan McAvoy on "The Young and the Restless" 2013-17.

Miller has been playing Jason on "General Hospital" since 2014.
