Sarah Michelle Gellar shared on social media photos of herself getting a new, darker 'do.

"What is happening????" the usually blonde Gellar captioned Friday's image of her at a salon with brown locks.

She also posted a selfie on Instagram Saturday, alongside the message: "sarahmgellar#brownhairdontcare (actually kind of love it!!) thank you everyone @andylecomptesalon."

The style change comes after Gellar confirmed she will star in a TV sequel series to her 1999 cult-classic film "Cruel Intentions."

She will reprise her role of the scheming brunette Kathryn Merteuil opposite franchise newcomers Samantha Logan, Taylor John Smith and Sophina Brown.

Gellar, 38, is also known for her performances in TV's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "The Crazy Ones," and for her vocal work on "Star Wars Rebels."
