Rihanna will release a shoe collection with famed designer Manolo Blahnik in May.

The 28-year-old Barbadian singer announced the news in the April issue of British Vogue, which hits newsstands March 10 with Rihanna on the cover.

The "Work" singer helped create six denim-driven designs featuring sequins, embroidery and other embellishments. Her favorite design is a pair of thigh-high denim boots she showed off in her photo shoot for the magazine.

"The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes... I am sorry for that woman because I'm going to literally run after her, shouting, 'Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?'" the star said. "I'm going to have a moment!"

The "Denim Desserts" collection ranges from $767 to $3,483.50 and will be sold in Manolo Blahnik stores in London, New York and Hong Kong. The 73-year-old Spanish designer had nothing but praise for Rihanna, saying consumers will "love" the shoes.

"This is an incredibly exciting collaboration and I am absolutely thrilled with the results," he said. "Working with Rihanna has been amazing and her drive, passion, creativity and style has been reflected in the designs, with fabulous results."

Rihanna is known for her modeling work with Dior, Balmain and MAC Cosmetics and designed four collections for River Island. She was named creative director of Puma in 2014 and debuted her Fenty x Rihanna line at New York Fashion Week in February.
