Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend Casper Smart has revealed she will return as a judge for "American Idol's" thirteenth season.

Thinking Fox had already made the announcement, Smart confirmed the news to E! Friday.

The tenth and eleventh-season judge took a break from the reality competition last year, but a source told E! she wanted to take back her judging duties so she could have more time for new film and television projects.

"And, of course, her twins are starting school this year and she will have time for her family," said the source, whose name was not reported.

The only judge returning from Season 12 is country singer Keith Urban. There's no word on who will be taking over judging duties for departing judges Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Nicki Minaj.

"American Idol" alums Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken and Adam Lambert have all been mentioned as possible replacements, as well as, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Fergie.
