Harry Connick Jr. is to star in the world premiere production of "The Sting."

Based on the 1973 Paul Newman-Robert Redford movie, the stage musical is scheduled to run March 29 through April 29 at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, N.J.

BroadwayWorld.com said the show will feature a book by Bob Martin; and music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann & Greg Kotis with Harry Connick, Jr.

Additional casting and creative team members are expected to be announced soon.

The actor, musician and talk-show host previously starred in a TV production of the musical "South Pacific," as well as the Broadway productions of "The Pajama Game" and "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever."
