The film "300" was No. 1 at the U.S. box office this weekend, holding its ground with more than $31.18 million in estimated receipts.

"Wild Hogs" was a strong No. 2 with more than $18.82 million over the weekend in its third week of release.

"Premonition" was a close third with $18 million; "Dead Silence" was fourth with more than $7.77 million; "Think I Love My Wife," in more limited release, was fifth with more than $5.71 million.

"Bridge to Terabithia" took sixth with more than $5.14 million; "Ghost Rider" seventh with $4 million; "Zodiac" eighth with more than $3.07 million; and "Norbit" ninth with more than $2.72 million.

"Music and Lyrics" rounded out the top 10 with $2.2 million.
