Lamar Odom's health has reportedly not improved since being hospitalized two days ago.

"Lamar's condition has not changed," a source told Us Weekly on Thursday.

"They still can't tell what kind of brain damage he has. There's still brain swelling. They are waiting for the organs to start working again -- his kidneys are still in dialysis."

To make matters worse, the 35-year-old former NBA player cannot breathe without machine assistance.

"Things are not looking good for Lamar," added another source. "He's not doing well."

The longer Odom remains in this state, the less likely it is he'll recover, according to TMZ. Sources said Odom -- who is deteriorating -- squeezed his estranged wife Kourtney Kardashian's hand Wednesday night but doctors are now saying it was probably an involuntary movement.

Although Odom and Kardashian signed divorce paperwork in July, they are still legally married. As a result, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is making all of Odom's medical decisions for him.

"Khloe is distraught," the first source told Us. "She has barely slept since Tuesday. She is extremely emotional. She's very protective of Lamar. And she's inconsolable."

Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday after a weekend of partying. Cocaine, opiates and herbal Viagra were all discovered in his system, and according to the magazine, he suffered several strokes.

In the 911 call that was released by authorities, a woman at the brothel said Odom had "blood coming from his nose and mouth along with a white substance."

Odom currently has family and friends at his side, including his ex Liza Morales and two kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr. Kardashian allegedly footed the bill for his father and children's travel expenses.
