Lamar Odom, the former NBA star whom Khloe Kardashian divorced, was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and is currently hospitalized and fighting for his life.

Kardashian is at Odom's side in Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, but his heart is failing and he's experiencing serious issues with his lungs and kidneys, TMZ reported.

Odom's prognosis does not look good because he has yet to regain consciousness and, according to a source, can only breathe with machine assistance.

Odom was reportedly staying at a house attached to Dennis Hof's Bunny Love Ranch South in the town of Crystal near Pahrump, where celebrities stay when visiting the brothel.

"We picked him up at his home in Vegas in a gated community. He was in a great mood and having fun with the girls. We don't think he was doing drugs because he slept every night. He woke up in a great mood," Hof, the owner of the Love Ranch, told E! News.

"He got calls on Sunday that kind of bummed him out. Besides that, he was in great state of mind. He was eating good. My girls were cooking for him."

Hof also said the girls "gave Lamar a bottle of Cognac on Saturday and there is a third of a bottle left."

According to a source, Odom was accompanied by a woman in the early morning hours on Tuesday, and around 6AM, the girl acknowledged she was heading out. Odom responded before falling back asleep, and then about nine hours later, he was discovered unconscious by two girls at 3:15PM.

Hof rolled Odom over on his side and saw "mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth," according to TMZ.

Odom allegedly had herbal Viagra in his system while spending his time at the ranch but no illegal drugs were found in his room.

"An ambulance from Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Service arrived at 3:34PM and the patient, identified as Lamar Odom was stabilized and transported to Desert View Hospital arriving at 4:16PM," Sharon Wehrly, a police official from Nye County, told E! News.

"After being treated by the physicians, arrangements were made to transport him by Mercy Air helicopter. However, Mr. Odom was unable to be transported by air due to his stature. He was immediately transported by Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Ambulance to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada for further treatment."

A Kardashian family insider told the website that Odom being found unconscious in a brothel "isn't shocking, but it is sad."

Khloe "had cut off contact with Lamar in the summer and she has been worried about Lamar for a very long time," said the insider.
