The Voice's third-season champion Cassadee Pope will now be recognized for more than just her talent.

The 24-year-old country star has been dubbed the new face of the Proactiv+ skincare line, People reported.

"I never struggled with skin issues until I was in my 20s," Pope, who began praising the acne-fighting brand back in 2012, told People.

"It always made me feel self conscious. I was afraid to go on stage, especially if I saw video cameras close up on my face -- I hated knowing the whole crowd was looking at my skin. That, of course, affected my performance in a negative way and I was less confident on stage."

Pope, however, is now intentionally attracting attention to her face and she feels great about herself.

"It's important to me to let people know that I've found a solution to something I've always been insecure about. I feel as an artist, there's always this obligation to come across strong and fearless, but we have insecurities like everyone else," Pope explained.

"Proactiv started making a difference on my skin as soon as the first day... [Now] I'm more confident on stage and I'm not afraid of cameras close up on my face. I'm not constantly thinking, 'I know they see my pimples' whenever I meet fans."

Pope's career is clearly on the rise, as she had also received a CMT Award last week for Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Wasting All These Tears." Blake Shelton presented Pope with the honor considering he had served as her mentor all season long on The Voice.

"I'm still in shock about winning my first CMT award. I'm so thankful to the fans and their loyalty since day one," the artist told People. "The fact that they believe in me this much just adds fuel to my fire and makes me want to continue to work even harder... to hear the [CMA Fest] crowd singing my lyrics back to me was surreal."

The Voice's seventh season will premiere Monday, September 22 at 8PM ET/PT on NBC.
