The third-season "The Voice" winner and Dawson announced their engagement Feb. 10 after seven years of dating. The singer later told People Dawson surprised her by proposing in their living room with their dog Cuppy present. "I had no idea. It was such a surprise," she told the magazine. "It was perfect, in our home that we love with our little son." "We want to take our time with planning and enjoy being engaged," the star added at the time.
