The Glass House eliminated Apollo during ABC's Monday night broadcast of the new Big Brother-like reality competition's third episode.

Apollo had been automatically placed in "limbo" after he was selected as one of the two least favorite players in the game by home viewers and then forced to become a team captain for the competition's second challenge, which his team ended up losing during last week's broadcast.

Fellow The Glass House contestant Holly later joined Apollo in limbo after the rest of the season's contestants nominated her for elimination because she was rubbing everyone in the house the wrong way. Fans were then required to vote for whether Apollo or Holly would return to the house this week and resume competing, and they ultimately opted to save Holly and eliminate Apollo.

During Monday night's broadcast, the house's big screen revealed which two players had received the least number of home viewer votes since the previous episode, ultimately replacing Apollo and Holly's former positions. Ashley -- whom fans voted for the second consecutive time -- and Robin were announced as the least favorite players, and as a result, they were forced to be team captains for the week's challenge and would be sent to "limbo" if their team lost.

The season's third challenge required each team, one at a time, to guess which one of three tasks fans voted for any random member of the team to complete. The tasks ranged from bobbing for fried chicken in a pot of gravy to mixing up tuna salad with one's feet. After that team member successfully performed the task selected, his or her teammates would learn whether they had guessed the task correctly.

If a team had guessed the wrong task to begin with, they would've completed a silly challenge for nothing. However, if a team selected the correct task voted on by fans and then finished it, they'd receive one point. The team to receive the most points at the end of the series of tasks would win the challenge and be safe from "limbo" nominations.

Ashley's team ended up winning the challenge, so Robin was automatically placed in "limbo" and put up for elimination once her team was defeated. The season's contestants proceeded to nominate Erica to join her following a split 5-5 vote with Andrea in which Robin had the tie-breaking vote and decided to take Erica down with her. Viewers will now get to determine whether they'd like to see Robin or Erica return to the game.
