Before U.S. Navy Lieutenant Andy Baldwin deploys to Bahrain, the former The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman star apparently wants to help others attain his sculpted physique.

After being photographed during his daily exercise regimen on a Hawaiian beach, Baldwin caught the attention of and was approached by fitness video producers to star in his own workout video -- and he agreed, In Touch Weekly reported in its November 19 issue.

"Fitness is such an important part of my life," Baldwin told In Touch.  "I'm hoping my workout video inspires others to get in shape."

Baldwin is scheduled to film his workout video this month on the beaches of Oahu, according to In Touch.

The 30-year-old undersea medical officer who is currently stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI better hope he doesn't need too many takes for the video, as he's accompanying the Navy SEALS unit he works with to Bahrain, an island kingdom in the Persian Gulf.

"He leaves in January," Baldwin's representative told Us Weekly last month.

Baldwin presented his final rose and also proposed marriage to Tessa Horst, a San Francisco, CA-based social worker, during ABC's May broadcast of Officer and a Gentleman's pre-taped finale.

Horst accepted both the rose and the proposal, however the couple announced the end of their engagement in August but insisted they were still very much a romantic item.   Baldwin recently reiterated the two are still an item.
