The NY Post reports that "American Idol" contestant, Frenchie Davis is Broadway bound. The 23-year old, plus-size singer with the outsized voice will appear as a regular in the Broadway production of the hit show "Rent" starting May 16.

"We go all over the country to find the hottest talent, so Frenchie fits in exactly with the kind of people who are in 'Rent'," says the show's producer, Jeffrey Sellers.
