Bachelor in Paradise alums Wells Adams and Joe Amabile have dished their feelings about Kylee Russell and Aven Jones announcing their split only two days after the Season 9 finale aired.

After Bachelor in Paradise's finale aired on December 7, Kylee, 26, announced two days later on December 7 that her relationship with Aven was over due to "multiple infidelities" on Aven's part.

Aven, 29, then admitted via Instagram Stories on Sunday, December 10 that he's definitely the one to blame for the demise of his post-Bachelor in Paradise relationship with Kylee.

Aven apologized for having "made major mistakes" and hurting someone "very close" to him.

Wells, the bartender of Bachelor in Paradise who also has some creative sway with producers of the franchise, apparently isn't thrilled with how Kylee and Aven handled their breakup in the real world.

"I hate how that stuff is so easily just put into the universe, you know?" Wells told Us Weekly in a joint interview with Joe while promoting their new partnership for a cocktail collection.

"It's so easy with social media to air your grievances and stuff."

Wells noted he's "sad" about how Aven and Kylee's romance ended, and he added, "I'm hoping for the best for both of them."

And Joe told Us that he "thought Kylee and Aven were going to work" because the pair had decided to leave Mexico together and still dating, without giving into the pressure of a Bachelor in Paradise engagement.

Kylee, however, desperately wanted a commitment and to get engaged in Paradise, and Aven was the one who was reluctant to pop the question.

Instead, Aven asked Kylee to trust him and to stop putting so much focus on the "engaged" label.

"No wonder he didn't want to get engaged, I guess," Joe quipped.

While Aven chose not to pop the question in Paradise, the show's ninth season ended with two engagements: Kat Izzo and John Henry Spurlock as well as Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei.

Just four days after Bachelor in Paradise's finale aired on ABC, Kat and John Henry announced they had called off their engagement and split.

Aaron then confirmed on that same day, December 11, that his engagement to Eliza had also ended and their relationship is over.

"I reached out to production being like, 'When are we doing the after show?' And they're like, 'Oh, we're not doing one this year,'" recalled Wells, who is happily married to actress Sarah Hyland.

"Never has there been a time [when] I actually want some answers from all these people that have now broken up since the show ended."

Joe -- who met his wife, Serena Pitt, on Bachelor in Paradise's seventh season in 2021 -- confessed he wasn't really surprised about the two broken engagements.

"Now I know what it feels like for Michael Jordan to watch the Bulls, you know, it's the amateur hour out there," Joe joked with the magazine.

"Being a success story from the show, like, you root for people, but I mean, you have to get lucky. Serena and I work because -- I don't know, I just feel like we are meant to be and I don't think that's as easy as people may think. It's not just perfect circumstances."

Joe said of Serena, whom he married in October 2022 before having a bigger wedding in September, "We really do work well together, and I don't know, you didn't really see that watching any of these couples."

When Kylee first took to Instagram to announce her split from Aven, she wrote, "Following our relationship announcement yesterday, I want to thank my God, he didn't allow me to live another day in the dark."

"In the last 24 hours," she continued, "I have been grasping with the fact that one of the most important relationships in my life dissolved due to multiple infidelities."

Kylee added, "This is not just a show but my real life and for the foreseeable future, I will be in a time of healing and trying to put the puzzle pieces of my life back together. Please respect my privacy at this time. Love you all."

The Bachelor 27 alum also wiped any trace of Aven from her Instagram account, deleting all photos of them together -- even the ones from their professional photo shoot that initially hard launched their relationship.

After taking a couple of days to reflect on the situation, Aven uploaded a statement to his Instagram Stories.

"After careful thought and consideration into writing this, I want to first and foremost apologize to Kylee, my family and my friends for my actions," Aven began.

He went on to confess, "I have made major mistakes in the relationship and hurt someone who was very close to me. At this time, I am in an extremely, extremely low place trying to work on myself."

He concluded, "I am doing my best to find healing, find myself and be a better person. Please have grace and respect for Kylee and her family through this difficult time. Thank you."

Aven and Kylee sparked a connection on Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season after the pair had subtly expressed interest in each other via social media.

Before filming began, Aven had "liked" a few of Kylee's Instagram photos and once dropped a fire emoji on one of her pictures. Kylee therefore developed a crush on Aven in the real world and couldn't wait to meet him.

One date in Paradise sealed the deal for Aven and Kylee that they only wanted to date each other on the show, and their romance continued until it became time for overnight Fantasy Suites.

Only couples who could envision themselves getting engaged were allowed to have a Fantasy Suite. This rule made Kylee and Aven take a hard look at their relationship and make some important decisions.

Kylee was convinced that Aven was The One for her and she wholeheartedly wanted to leave the show in an engagement, but she knew Aven wasn't on the same page.

Kylee complained and cried about how she knew what she deserves and Aven was making her feel like she wasn't enough. Kylee didn't think Aven was going to be ready to propose marriage to her at the Final Rose Ceremony, and she was beginning to have an all-or-nothing outlook on their relationship.

Aven's reluctance to get engaged made Kylee question if Aven was truly ready for commitment and if he would settle down with her in the real world.

Aven thought Kylee's focus on an engagement was "ridiculous," but he said he didn't want to lose Kylee over this, nor could he imagine leaving the show without her.

"I am falling in love with you, but like, as far as the engagement goes, I need more outside of this before I can take that step right now," Aven told Kylee. "I'm just trying to be as honest as possible; I think that's what's best for us. So I hope that's enough."

Kylee explained how an engagement would solidify their bond and his doubts made her frustrated and concerned about their future together.

"Is that the only way you can commit to a person?" Aven snapped at Kylee, knocking the "label" of being engaged.

Aven proceeded to vent to Bachelor in Paradise cameras, "If she's willing to throw this all away for [an engagement], then I guess that sums it up. That says it all. It's up for her to decide if it's worth it or not."

Kylee was hoping Aven would eventually have a change of heart, but he wouldn't budge on the subject. She felt "embarrassed" and couldn't understand why Aven didn't have an open mind about an engagement.

"I've literally been telling people that it's you, and you... were willing to take that next step with [Rachel Recchia] and do a Fantasy Suite with her... and you are not willing to get to that head space with me," Kylee pointed out.

Aven therefore cut to the chase and asked Kylee, "If we don't get engaged, are we done? Now I'm upset, because I feel like everything else is irrelevant besides an engagement... That's all you seem to care about right now."

"It's because I know. I know it's you. So how frustrating is it to me that you don't know the same thing?" Kylee asked.

Aven assured Kylee that an engagement would probably still be in their future, and so he asked her to trust him.

Kylee admitted that she couldn't see herself walking away from Aven, and so she decided to leave Paradise with him as a dating couple.

"We're going to be fine... We'll get to that point very soon," The Bachelorette 19 alum told Kylee.

Kylee said she'd continue to fight for her relationship, and Aven promised that he wouldn't let her down. The pair was ready to take a risk together, but Kylee hoped this wasn't going to be her biggest heartbreak ever.

In an update that aired at the end of Bachelor in Paradise's Season 9 finale, an onscreen graphic revealed that Kylee's patience had paid off and she and Aven were blossoming as a couple.
