Joey got rejected by Charity Lawson on The Bachelorette's twentieth season when she chose Dotun Olubeko as her winner instead at the Final Rose Ceremony.

Joey told Charity that he was "very much in love" with her, and as he was getting down on one knee to propose marriage, Charity abruptly stopped him and broke up with him in second place.

"I was envisioning our life together. I was getting down on one knee. I thought it was happening. I was certain; I had zero doubt," Joey said in his final words on The Bachelorette. "I wanted to leave here with Charity, it's all I wanted. And she gave me every reason to believe it."

Joey said he felt ready to get engaged and it was ripped away from him in an instant.

Joey asked the universe, "When is it going to happen for me?"

It's going to happen for Joey when The Bachelor's 28th season premieres with a two-hour episode on Monday, January 22 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

It's now Joey's turn to hand out the roses and hopefully find the love of his life and his future wife.

The Bachelor spoilers for Joey's season were released by Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone in October and November.

"Through a lot of sources and all the notes I've gathered throughout the season, here are all your spoilers for Joey's season," Carbone wrote in a November 29 blog posting.

"Every date, rose, elimination, and some storylines to look for when his season begins on January 22nd, 2024... If I find out any more details as the season goes on, obviously I will add them to these spoilers."

Joey's initial cast of potential bachelorettes comprised of 32 women was released in September.

ABC announced at the time the 32 women who "may" have a chance to meet and date Joey, a 27-year-old tennis pro from Koloa, HI, on The Bachelor's 28th season.

But according to Carbone, all 32 women ended up being cast on Joey's season and none of the bachelorettes got cut from the lineup prior to filming.

Below are all the currently-known spoilers for Joey's The Bachelor edition.

Joey's The Bachelor season began filming in September

Joey's bachelorettes started arriving in Los Angeles on September 15.

And The Bachelor season began filming with Night 1's cocktail party on September 19.

Joey wasn't looking for a specific "type"

Joey said on the August 29 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, which is co-hosted by Bachelor in Paradise spouses Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, that's he's looking for a woman who is adventurous.

"I want someone that's going to love every day and try to make the most of it," Joey shared.

Joey, who claimed he doesn't really have a type, added how he wants a funny woman who can "command a room," make others feel comfortable, and not take things too seriously.

According to ABC, Joey also wants a partner who is outgoing and caring.

"He loves hiking, surfing and ending his days watching the sunset but knows he has much more love to give, and the only thing missing is someone with whom to share his life," ABC says of The Bachelor star.

Lea Cayanan opted not to use her special advantage

On Night 1, Joey reunited with Lea Cayanan, a 23-year-old from Los Angeles, CA, whom he had met during the finale of Charity Lawson's The Bachelorette season.

As fans may recall, Jesse gave Lea a card that she couldn't open until Night 1 of filming.

"I don't know [what was in the card]. It threw me for a loop," Joey said on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.

"I like that they are trying to change things up, I really do. But I was like, 'What are we doing with the card? What does this mean?'"

Inside the card was a letter informing Lea that she'd have the opportunity to steal another woman's one-on-one date at any point during the season.

Joey gave his First Impression Rose to Lea Cayanan

Although Lea was given a special advantage to secure alone time with Joey, she decided to throw the letter in the fire and get rid of it.

Lea reportedly told Joey that she wanted to feel chosen by Joey and have him select a one-on-one date for her -- when he was ready -- instead of stealing it from another bachelorette.

Because of Lea's selfless gesture and confident personality, Joey decided to give her the coveted First Impression Rose.

Joey eliminated 10 women at the First Rose Ceremony

After meeting and getting to know most of his 32 bachelorettes on Night 1 of the process in Los Angeles, CA, Joey handed out roses to only 22 women at the first Rose Ceremony of the season.

Joey's decisions ultimately eliminated Chandler Dewgard, Kayla Rodgers, Kyra Brusch, Lanie Latsios, Natalie Crepeau, Samantha Hale, Samantha Washington, Sandra Rabadi, Talyah Jackson, and Zoe Antona.

Joey took Daisy Kent on his first one-on-one date

Joey embarked on his first solo date of the season with Daisy Kent, a 24-year-old from San Diego, CA.

For their date, Joey and Daisy took a helicopter ride to the BeachLife Ranch Festival in Redondo Beach, CA.

Jessica Edwards got the first group-date rose

Joey's first group date was with nine women: Erika Cardenas, a 25-year-old from North Bergen, NJ; Evalin Clark, a 28-year-old from San Antonio, TX; Jessica Edwards, a 24-year-old from San Diego, CA; Kelsey Toussant, a 31-year-old from Los Angeles, CA; Lauren Hollinger, a 28-year-old from Philadelphia, PA; Lexi Young, a 30-year-old from Atlanta, GA; Maria Georgas, a 28-year-old from Kleinburg, ON; Rachel Nance, a 26-year-old from Rancho Cucamonga, CA; and Taylor Wiens, a 23-year-old from Chicago, IL.

The wedding-themed group date featured the women trying on wedding dresses and then doing a toast in "roast-like" fashion at the reception, which was in front of a live audience.

Jessica Edwards reportedly received the group date rose.

Joey's second group date had an unusual twist

Ten women accompanied Joey on the second group date of the season: Allison Hollinger, a 26-year-old from Philadelphia, PA; Autumn Waggoner, a 26-year-old from St. Louis, MO; Chrissa Perez, a 26-year-old from Abbotsford, BC; Edwina Dorbor, a 25-year-old from Atlanta, GA; Jenn Tran, a 25-year-old from Miami, FL; Katelyn DeBacker, a 25-year-old from Santa Fe, NM; Kelsey Anderson, a 25-year-old from New Orleans, LA; Madina Alam, a 30-year-old from Charlotte, NC; Marlena Haddad, a 26-year-old from West Palm Beach, FL; and Starr Skyler, a 25-year-old from Delray Beach, FL.

Joey and the women went paintballing.

Two former The Bachelor contestants joined the group on this date, including Demi Burnett. Carbone wasn't sure about the other one.

In a unique format twist, the bachelorettes had to choose one woman to spend alone time with Joey that evening.

Edwina Dorbor eventually got the extra time with Joey and a rose

The bachelorettes couldn't agree and decide on one person to enjoy a date with Joey, and so they ultimately drew names.

Edwina Dorbor's name was drawn, and so she got the one-on-one date with Joey after the group date. Edwina ended up securing herself a rose.

Lea Cayanan and Sydney Gordon did not receive a date during Week 1.

Lauren Hollinger quit The Bachelor before Joey's second Rose Ceremony

Lauren Hollinger eliminated herself during the cocktail party preceding the second Rose Ceremony of the season.

Lauren appeared on the show with her sister Allison Hollinger.

"[Lauren] thought her sister Allison liked him more and she wasn't feeling it so she left," Carbone wrote in his blog of Lauren.

Joey sent three more women home at the second Rose Ceremony

At Rose Ceremony No. 2, Joey narrowed down his search for love from 22 to 18 women in Los Angeles, CA.

There were four teams of two players. The pairs were Evalin Clark and Kelsey Toussant, Starr Skyler and Rachel Nance, Jessica Edwards and Katelyn DeBacker, and Autumn Waggoner and Daisy Kent.

All of the girls had to play in Halloween costumes, and Kelsey and Evalin ended up winning the final match.

Katelyn DeBacker received the group-date rose.

Kelsey Anderson got Week 2's "Talent Show" group-date rose

Joey took nine women on a "Talent Show" date.

Those women were Allison Hollinger, Chrissa Perez, Edwina Dorbor, Kelsey Anderson, Maria Georgas, Madina Alam, Lexi Young, Lea Cayanan, and Sydney Gordon.

Sydney Gordon and Maria Georgas sparked drama

Drama started brewing between Sydney Gordon and Maria Georgas at the talent-show group date.

"It had to do with initially Madina being self-conscious about her age. She was one of the older ones on the show. Maria made a comment about it that Sydney heard, so she told Madina and Maria had issue with Sydney," Carbone wrote in his blog.

The girls' drama reportedly continued into the next Rose Ceremony.

Joey eliminated Chrissa Perez, Evalin Clark and Starr Skyler at the third Rose Ceremony

Joey canceled the cocktail party before the third Rose Ceremony of the season in exchange for a pool party that day in Los Angeles, CA.

"The pool party ended up being all about the Maria vs. Sydney drama," according to Carbone.

Joey then went from 18 to 15 bachelorettes at the third Rose Ceremony.

Joey sent Chrissa Perez, Evalin Clark and Starr Skyler packing.

Joey and his remaining 15 bachelorettes began their international travel in Malta

Autumn Waggoner got alone time with Joey during Malta's group date

Joey also went on a group date in which he and a group of ladies went to a fort and met knights and had sword fights.

After sword fighting, there was a competition to see who would receive extra time with Joey that night -- and they had to catch sausages in their mouths.

Autumn Waggoner won the extra time with Joey, but either Kelsey Toussant or Rachel Nance received the group-date rose.

Maria Georgas and Sydney Gordon had a two-on-one date with Joey in Malta

Joey embarked on a tense two-on-one date with Maria Georgas and Sydney Gordon.

Joey reportedly believed Maria's story over Sydney's side of the drama, and so Joey eliminated Sydney.

Joey ousted Edwina Dorbor and Allison Hollinger at the fourth Rose Ceremony of the season

At Rose Ceremony No. 4, Joey narrowed down his bachelorettes from 15 ladies to only 12 women.

At the Malta Rose Ceremony, Joey eliminated Edwina Dorbor and Allison Hollinger.

As previously reported, Sydney Gordon was already eliminated on the two-on-one date.

Joey visited Spain with his Final 12 bachelorettes

After enjoying the country of Malta, Joey and his cast took off to Marbella, Spain for his next round of international dates.

Joey had two one-on-one dates in Spain as well as one group date.

Kelsey Anderson and Rachel Nance got solo dates in Spain

Kelsey Anderson and Rachel Nance received one-on-one dates in Spain.

Joey and Kelsey bought food at local stores and had a picnic, and Rachel's date involved dancing and a fireworks show.

They both presumably received roses.

Maria Georgas got a rose from Joey during the group date in Spain

The group date featured 10 women: Autumn Waggoner, Daisy Kent, Jenn Tran, Jessica Edwards, Katelyn DeBacker, Kelsey Toussant, Lea Cayanan, Lexi Young, Madina Alam, and Maria Georgas.

The bachelorettes were required to write a poem and paint it, and then Joey had to try to guess what it was.

Maria ended up receiving the group-date rose.

Madina Alam and Autumn Waggoner were denied roses in Spain

At the fifth Rose Ceremony of the season, Joey handed out only 10 roses, which meant that two would be going home.

Joey chose to eliminate Madina Alam and Autumn Waggoner.

Joey and his Final 10 bachelorettes visited Montreal after leaving Spain

Joey and his cast of bachelorettes traveled to Montreal, Canada next.

The 10 women who accompanied him to Montreal were Daisy Kent, Jenn Tran, Jessica Edwards, Katelyn DeBacker, Kelsey Anderson, Kelsey Toussant, Lea Cayanan, Lexi Young, Maria Georgas, and Rachel Nance.

Joey eliminated Jessica Edwards during a group date in Montreal

Joey and the following eight women -- Daisy Kent, Jenn Tran, Jessica Edwards, Katelyn DeBacker, Kelsey Anderson, Lea Cayanan, Lexi Young, and Rachel Nance -- participated in a scavenger hunt around Old Montreal, and they also played hockey.

During the night portion of this group date, Joey sent Jessica Edwards home.

Lexi Young quit Joey's season while The Bachelor was in Montreal

Some time before Maria Georgas' one-on-one date, Lexi Young self-eliminated from the competition.

"Apparently their timelines of marriage and kids didn't align, so she left," according to Carbone.

"I'm not sure exactly whose timeline is what. All I heard was this had to do with their timelines not meshing."

Maria Georgas and Kelsey Toussant had one-on-one dates in Montreal

Joey gave Maria Georgas the Pretty Woman-inspired solo date in which they went shopping around town.

Kelsey Toussant received the other one-on-one date, but Carbone didn't have any details on what they did on the date.

Joey eliminated Katelyn DeBacker and Lea Cayanan at the Montreal Rose Ceremony

At the sixth Rose Ceremony of the season, Joey narrowed down his bachelorettes from 10 women to his Final 6 ladies.

Joey and his Final 6 bachelorettes traveled to Alberta after visiting Montreal

Joey's Final 6 women were Daisy Kent, Jenn Tran, Kelsey Anderson, Kelsey Toussant, Maria Georgas, and Rachel Nance.

Joey began filming in Jasper, Alberta, Canada on October 19, according to Carbone's October spoilers.

"Jasper is the last episode before hometowns," Carbone explained.

"They are staying at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. There's going to be a Polar Plunge date Saturday in Lac Beauvert. Hometowns will start filming Tuesday, Oct. 24th."

Joey gave out his Final 4 hometown date roses in Jasper, Alberta

Joey handed out roses during his dates in Jasper instead of there being a Rose Ceremony.

Both Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson received one-on-one dates. Daisy had the horseback riding date and Kelsey did the Polar Plunge with Joey. They both presumably received roses.

"Not sure if there were three one-on-one's this episode and a three-person group date, or if these were the only two one-on-one's and it was a four-person group date," Carbone reported in his November spoilers.

Jenn Tran and Kelsey Toussant didn't receive roses in Jasper, Alberta

Carbone doesn't think there was an official Rose Ceremony in Jasper.

However, he reported that Joey eliminated Jenn Tran and Kelsey Toussant during his week of dates.

Joey's Final 4 bachelorettes were therefore Daisy Kent, Kelsey Anderson, Maria Georgas, and Rachel Nance.

Maria Georgas was eliminated after the Final 4 women's hometown dates

Daisy Kent's hometown date was filmed in Minnesota on October 24, Kelsey Anderson's hometown date was filming in Louisiana on October 26, Maria Georgas' date was filmed in Canada on October 28, and then Rachel Nance's date was taped on October 30.

Joey ousted Rachel Nance after his Final 3 overnight Fantasy Suite dates in Tulum, Mexico

Joey and his Final 3 bachelorettes -- Daisy Kent, Kelsey Anderson, and Rachel Nance -- headed to Tulum, Mexico for Joey's round of overnight Fantasy Suite dates.

After his week of dates, Joey ousted Rachel in third place at the ninth Rose Ceremony of the season.

Following this round of dates, ABC is expected to air the season's The Bachelor: The Women Tell All special.

The Bachelor has teased an "unprecedented" and "shocking" ending

A preview of Joey's season shows The Bachelor star feeling anxious about his Final Rose Ceremony.

"With Charity, I tried to get down on one knee and I was stopped. So my biggest fear is 'The One' walking out," Joey says in the trailer, choking back tears. "I'm afraid of someone not accepting me for me."

A voiceover then reveals how The Bachelor's ending is an "unprecedented, shocking first in Bachelor history."

Joey then lamented to the cameras, "That was crazy. I didn't expect that at all. I can't think that's happened before. I don't even know what to say, I know I gave as much as I could. I'm sick of feeling like this. It feels wrong, but I don't know what to do."

Joey picked Daisy Kent over Kelsey Anderson at the Final Rose Ceremony

"Always tough to get any details in regards to how the dates with the parents went or who had which date first and stuff like that," Carbone wrote in his November blog posting.

"All I care about is finding out how it ended and who Joey proposed to -- if he did."

Joey selected Daisy Kent as his winner, breaking Kelsey Anderson's heart in second place.

Joey got engaged to Daisy Kent

Not only did Joey choose Daisy Kent as his winner, but he also proposed marriage to her at the Final Rose Ceremony -- and Daisy said yes.

"Just like every season, people will question, people will doubt, and contestants will post stuff on social media to throw fans off. Happens every season. This one will be no different," Carbone claimed.

"But come finale night, this is what you'll see. Joey and Daisy got engaged in Tulum, Mexico at the end of the season. Obviously the finale won't air until mid-March so who knows what can happen in the next four months. But this is how the season ended."

Carbone said he has no proof that he can share in order to not out his sources.
