The Bachelorette alum Katie Thurston apparently hasn't given up on the idea she may find lasting love on reality television.

The CW released a promo video on Monday that showed Katie rocking an orange tank top and white shorts in a tropical location.

"Okay, Katie, are you ready?" a producer asks the brunette beauty.

"Ready!" Katie replies.

A clapboard then appears in front of The Bachelor alum's face with the words "FBoy Island, The CW, This Fall" written on it.

A crew member proceeds to announce, "FBoy Island, Season 3, Take One."

Katie, with a confused and angry expression on her face, shouts, "Wait, FBoy Island?! Are you kidding?!"

Former The Bachelor executive producer Elan Gale -- who left The Bachelor franchise in late 2018 after being part of it for over a decade -- began producing FBoy Island for HBO Max when the show's first season premiered in Summer 2021.

Warner Bros. Discovery cut much of HBO Max's original programming last year, and FBoy Island was one of them after airing two seasons.

The CW then picked up the series, as well as another spin off titled FGirl Island, earlier this year.

FBoy Island, hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, follows three women on a tropical island joined by 24 men.

The unique twist of the show is that 12 of the guys are self-proclaimed "Nice Guys" looking for love and a serious relationship while the other 12 suitors are self-proclaimed "FBoys" there to compete for money.

As viewers are probably already aware, the term "FBoy" stands for "f-ckboy," which describes a player-like man who likes to bounce from hookup to hookup.

The three women -- including Katie -- will be tasked with navigating the dating pool together with the hope of making a lasting love connection.

In the finale episode of FBoy Island, the Nice Guys and FBoys are revealed as well as each woman's final choice for a romantic partner.

FBoy Island is a social experiment that asks, "Can FBoys truly reform, or do Nice Guys always finish last?"

The announcement of Katie's FBoy Island participation comes only a month after Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone reported that Katie's ex-fiance, The Bachelorette 17 winner Blake Moynes, will be appearing on Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season when it airs on ABC this fall.

Blake and Katie got engaged at the end of her The Bachelorette season, which filmed in early 2021.

The pair announced their breakup in October of that year, just two short months after their The Bachelorette finale aired in August 2021.

Katie went on to date -- and live with -- one of her Week 2 eliminees from the show, San Diego bartender John Hersey, for about six months until she announced their split in June 2022.

Katie later admitted John, whom many people had called Katie's "rebound," was the one who broke up with her.

Katie has been single ever since, although rumors swirled in early 2023 that she was hooking up with The Circle Season 3 alum Nick Uhlenhuth.

Dating speculation sparked after The Bachelorette alum and Nick were spotted dancing together and celebrating New Year's Eve together with friends.

Later that month, Katie revealed what she's looking for in her dream guy.

"[I want] someone who isn't [intimidated] by my life or personality," Katie shared during a Q&A session via Instagram Stories at the time, according to Us Weekly.

"I'm pretty independent so bonus points if I feel taken care of by him, that's when my feminine energy shines."

Prior to starring on The Bachelorette, Katie also previously appeared on Season 25 of The Bachelor starring Matt James. She never opted to join Bachelor in Paradise, though several of her fellow bachelorettes did.

In August 2022, Katie shared during an episode of the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast that she had no interest in looking for love on another reality dating show, whether it be on ABC or any other channel or streaming platform.

"I don't think so," Katie noted. "I think reality TV can be fun, but dating in reality? No."

Katie added, "The Bachelor franchise, I am not dipping into that pool anymore."

"Why?" asked Kaitlyn Bristowe, who got engaged to Shawn Booth at the end of The Bachelorette's eleventh season and is now engaged to The Bachelorette 14 alum Jason Tartick.

"I don't want to generalize that much, but it's a certain type, you know what I mean?" Katie explained.

"They're all, to a certain extent, they're either a certain type or the show changes them a little bit -- and then they become a certain type."

Kaitlyn's co-host suggested men in Bachelor Nation are "thirsty," and Katie agreed, "You said it!"

"But, you know, I've already done it twice. I'm just not interested," Katie elaborated. "There have been some that have slid into my DM's, and talking to them, it's so cringy."

Katie refused to share who had DM'd her in order to "respect their boundaries and privacy."

Katie said she knows "for sure" that the people mixed up with The Bachelor franchise are "too interchangeable."

"I can't explain it," Katie admitted. "I feel like I'm so open [otherwise]."

Katie also revealed she was actually "very, very excited" to be single.

"I'm just focusing on myself, truly. Am I open to finding someone? Sure, I hope so. But it's not a priority," Katie shared at the time.

Katie also told Kaitlyn that her future partner must love animals and be confident and secure in who he is and what he brings to the table, especially given her background of having dated 30 guys on television.
