The Bachelorette featured Charity Lawson feeling "conflicted" over Brayden Bowers after he expressed doubt and reluctance to get engaged, Aaron Schwartzman calling Sean McLaughlin a selfish child, and Charity eliminating Warwick Reider on a one-on-one date followed by three more men during the Season 20 episode that aired Monday night on ABC.

"We were just on two different pages," Warwick said following his exit, basically falling asleep in the car. "If I were to stay, then we would just be wasting time."

The Bachelorette star also eliminated Aaron S., a 33-year-old firefighter from San Diego, CA; Adrian Hassan, a 33-year-old realtor from North Hills, CA; and James Pierce, a 28-year-old attorney from Chicago, IL, during the third Rose Ceremony of the season.

The Bachelorette broadcast began with Charity meeting her remaining 14 bachelors and apologizing for cutting the pool party and BBQ short the previous day due to drama.

In addition to Warwick, Aaron S., Adrian, and James, Charity's 14 bachelors included Aaron Bryant, a 29-year-old software salesman from San Diego, CA; Brayden, a 24-year-old travel nurse from San Diego, CA; Caleb Balgaard, a 24-year-old pro wrestler from Orlando, FL; Dotun Olubeko, a 30-year-old integrative medicine specialist from Brooklyn, NY; and John Buresh, a 27-year-old data scientist from New York, NY.

The rest of the men were Joseph "Joey" Graziadei, a 27-year-old tennis pro from Koloa, HI; Michael Barbour, a 29-year-old yacht captain from South Holland, IL; Sean McLaughlin, a 25-year-old software sales representative from Tampa, FL; Tanner Courtad, a 30-year-old mortgage lender from Pittsburgh, PA; and Xavier Bonner, 27, a 27-year-old biomedical scientist from Carrboro, NC.

Sean was upset that Charity had to focus her mind and emotions "on a bunch of bullsh-t," and Dotun was ready to put all the Brayden drama behind them and rid Charity of any distractions.

Aaron S. was also shown venting to the other guys about how Brayden had "toxic traits."

When Charity met with her 14 suitors, she announced that they'd be traveling to Oceanside for the next week of dates. The bus was leaving in 30 minutes, but first, Charity asked Brayden on a one-on-one date.

Brayden said he was only concerned with Charity's opinion of him -- and no one else's. The Bachelorette star had asked him on the date because they shared "an instant, strong connection" and she felt at ease and comfortable with him.

Charity wasn't sure if Brayden was ready for a commitment and an engagement, but she wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.

"With past relationships, ignoring the concerns or the red flags made me feel foolish, and I felt shame staying with the person I shouldn't," Charity told the cameras, adding how this was "a test" for her The Bachelorette suitor.

"I do have the strength and courage now to address things upfront, so today is so important. We need this time together. I definitely want to have those important conversations... I don't know if this experience is too much for him."

Charity and Brayden embarked on a romantic helicopter ride over the water to Brayden's beloved hometown while the other guys sat on a hot bus for several hours.

The Bachelorette star and Brayden landed in Petco Park, and Brayden was totally blown away. The couple had the entire field to themselves, and so they played catch, ran around, let loose, and had fun.

Charity said she felt in sync with the "attractive" bachelor, and she gushed about how they could be goofy and silly together.

Brayden admitted he had doubts of whether he could continue with The Bachelorette experience when he was away from Charity and watching other men go on dates with her. Brayden said he didn't want to withdraw from Charity or hurt her, but he was clearly struggling with the process.

"If this experience is going to be too much for him, what are we doing and why are we here? I don't want someone who doesn't think I'm a priority or worth fighting for," Charity lamented in a confessional.

Meanwhile, a Date Card arrived for the other men and had the following names on it: Joey, Aaron B., Michael, James, Caleb, Aaron S., Sean, Xavier, Tanner, Adrian, Dotun, and John.

That meant Warwick would be accompanying Charity on a one-on-one date, and all of the guys seemed surprised because they thought he was so quiet. John and Xavier started to get inside their heads because of Charity's unexpected choice.

Charity recognized that she has a nurturing personality and tends to put other people's feelings first, wanting to help and comfort them, but she didn't want to fall back into her bad patterns in prior relationships.

During dinner on the field that night, Charity admitted it scared her to hear that Brayden had considered leaving the show. Brayden reminded Charity that he didn't leave but it was scary to watch her date and connect with other people.

Brayden explained how he had been cheated on in a past relationship -- by the only love of his life -- which made him feel invalidated and "so small." Brayden said he never wants to go through something like that again and it was traumatic for him.

Brayden was putting a lot of pressure on himself, and he told the cameras he didn't want to give Charity the expectation that he could 100 percent last on the show.

"I see you walk out the door with other guys and I spiral. I don't know how to let it go," Brayden told Charity.

Brayden promised that he would continue to try to stick it out for her on The Bachelorette because he really liked her and she was "worth trying for," and then he wrote a sweet note to Charity on a baseball. That's exactly what Charity needed to hear.

Charity thought Brayden's answer was sincere, truthful and vulnerable, which is what she was asking for from the guys -- not just perfect answers. She therefore gave Brayden a rose and a kiss.

Charity and Brayden's date ended with fireworks, and Charity said she felt happy to be with Brayden in that moment. In fact, she couldn't stop smiling.

The next day, Charity's bachelors gathered for a Barbie-themed group date hosted by The Bachelorette spouses JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers. Charity, wearing a bright pink suit jacket and shorts, was looking for the Ken to her Barbie.

The men were asked to write a love song for Charity set to the music of "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and perform it in front of a screaming crowd.

The 12 guys also had to dress the part by putting on Ken outfits from over the years -- including Cowboy Ken, Classic Ken, Prom Ken, and Rollerblade Ken.

John looked hilarious as "Birthday Suit Ken," appearing to be naked with a bright blonde wig, and Sean thought he had a huge advantage since he's a handsome blonde who could pass for the real Ken.

"One of my biggest fears is public singing, and my singing voice is horrific. There will be blood spilled today from the ears of the crowd!" joked Dotun, who went as Astronaut Ken with a blonde wig.

All of the songs were pretty rough on the ears, but Caleb impressed Charity because he actually has a pretty great singing voice.

Sean, however, stole the show as "Double Denim Ken" by taking off his short and getting the crowd to go wild. Sean sang about wanting to fall in love, and he also pulled Charity up onstage for a kiss.

Charity named Sean the winner, and then the pair took a romantic stroll together down the pier. All of the men on the group date, however, would be able to join Charity for the afterparty that evening.

Sean complimented Charity on being so special and having depth, and the couple shared a kiss at sunset.

"You want a pretty boy? Chase after Sean. But look at me, I'm a man. He'll take you shopping, to country clubs, and wine and dine. But if you want a real-life man who knows how to fish, hunt, camp and water ski... then yeah, hit me up," Aaron S. boasted in a confessional after the date.

That night at the afterparty, Sean joined the guys singing his song, and no one appreciated the joke or high energy he was bringing. Aaron S. said Sean's attempt to lighten the mood was "a complete failure."

Aaron S. asked Sean if he's an only child, demanding that he eat a slice of "humble pie." Sean, however, told the cameras it's important to be selfish sometimes, and so he was the first guy who stole Charity for a conversation at the afterparty.

Aaron S. called Sean "a selfish, privileged child," and he was clearly pissed off.

When Sean returned to the group, James complained that Sean had probably robbed him of his moment with Charity that night. John also thought Sean's move was "disrespectful," but he was trying to block out all the noise and just focus on Charity.

John subsequently told Charity that he's a patient man who would continue pursuing her, and Michael opened up about how his mother and grandfather were educators in the city, which pushed him into the shadows a bit. Charity also got to see the goofy side of Tanner.

And Charity pushed Dotun out of his comfort zone by taking him to her hotel room. The pair enjoyed an intimate setting, and Dotun said it made him feel very special.

Dotun said really powerful things he needed were missing in his last relationships.

"I always felt like I was the one being learned from, but I want to learn from other people," Dotun shared with Charity. "And just seeing you interact, you're someone I can learn from. I'm just going to go on and on about you forever... and gas you up!"

Dotun praised Charity for being a competent person, and he joked, "I feel some type of way!"

Dotun told Charity that he was viewing her as his "ideal woman," and Charity teared up and appeared extremely flattered.

Charity said Dotun was so sweet and had touched her soul. Charity assured Dotun there was "definitely something" between them, and she told the cameras that she was "so excited" for what was to come with him.

At the end of the afterparty, Charity gave the group-date rose to Dotun. Aaron B. admitted the date sucked because he didn't get time with Charity, and doubts were starting to creep in his head.

"There are guys here who don't give a f-ck about anybody else," Aaron B. complained in a confessional.

The next day, Warwick went on his one-on-one date with Charity, and Aaron S. joked about how Warwick might end up being the "silent killer" -- someone who sits back, observes, and then ultimately steals the girl.

Charity said she was physically attracted to Warwick but really needed a chance to get to know him. She was intrigued by him and wanted to see more.

For their date, Charity and Warwick took a limo ride to Belmont Park, an amusement park that they had all to themselves.

Charity and Warwick were vibing and having fun on their date, enjoying drinks and riding the rides. But then suddenly, awkward silence fell upon them. Charity wanted Warwick to be open, but she wondered if he was really nervous.

When the pair grabbed a couple of ice cream cones, Charity scooped her own ice cream, and she was a little disappointed that Warwick didn't step up as a "gentleman" and shape her cone.

During dinner that night, Warwick told the cameras that he thought the date was going well but he was just tired, and when Charity asked him why his past relationships had failed, Warwick said they just didn't work out.

Charity asked Warwick to name his best attribute, and Warwick couldn't come up with anything. Charity shared how she's a great communicator, which Warwick confessed was a weakness for him.

"I'm always somewhat reluctant to get into relationships," Warwick murmured.

Charity thought Warwick's behavior was "ridiculous," and she didn't know what to think.

Charity told Warwick at the end of their date that they seemed to be on two different pages and so she couldn't give him a rose. Charity proceeded to walk Warwick out because being "cute" just wasn't enough for her, especially since each rose held so much significance to The Bachelorette star.

The next morning, Brayden shared how he had a dream about Charity taking off his rose at a Rose Ceremony and giving it to someone else.

"What I'm not sure I could do is getting engaged after just dating with 20 other dudes," Brayden announced to the group.

"I know I could, for sure, date her after this experience, but for me, it would be hard to 100 percent get down on a knee after this experience. That's when my mind starts spiraling."

Brayden's words struck a chord with Aaron B. because the guy didn't seem open to an engagement with Charity.

At the cocktail party that night preceding the third Rose Ceremony of the season, Joey shared letters with Charity that his grandfather had written him and called The Bachelorette star "captivating." Charity said she was "feeling some feels" with Joey.

And Xavier knitted a little shawl or scarf for Charity, which made her feel confident that he was ready for a serious relationship.

After Brayden flirted with Charity and gushed about her beauty and how he was "smitten" with her, Aaron B. told the cameras that Brayden didn't seem to be on the show for the right reasons.

"Don't walk around with a rose if you don't want to date with 20 other guys," Aaron B. complained.

Aaron B. therefore informed Charity that he felt protective of her feelings and so, from a bird's eye view, Brayden was not ready for an engagement and came across very unsure of Charity and whether he wanted to keep dating her.

Charity admitted the news frustrated her, but Aaron B. assured Charity that he was there for her and would look out for her. Aaron B. insisted that he wasn't trying to drag another man down to lift himself up, and Charity felt a little "sick" over the revelation.

Charity worried that no matter how much she reassured Brayden, it wouldn't be enough. And she vented to the cameras about how she didn't want to deal with "foolishness" during her journey to find love.

Aaron B. subsequently confronted Brayden and admitted that he had warned Charity about him. Brayden told Aaron B. that an engagement is a huge deal and the other guys seemed to be taking it lightly.

Brayden told the cameras that he never expected his words to be used against him as "fuel" to "burn [him] alive." Brayden said he already admitted those things to Charity, and he accused Aaron B. of being insecure.

"Dude, your ego got stressed because you don't have [a rose] on your chest. So you want to throw me under the bus!" Brayden shouted to the cameras. "Dude, what you did right now was not cool. I want to be like Will Smith right now, [slap him], and say, 'Keep my name outta your mouth!' I'm annoyed!"

Aaron B. explained to Brayden that he just wanted to be a safe haven for Charity, but Brayden thought there was no need to throw his name out there.

Brayden insisted the only doubt he had in the process was not wanting to hurt Charity. But Charity feared Brayden wasn't taking this show seriously since he was well aware he'd be dating her with 20 or 30 other guys.

"I have no problem pulling this man aside. He has a f-cking rose on his chest; I will rip that sh-t off," Charity said in a confessional.

Charity then pulled Brayden aside seeking answers, but Tanner predicted that the bachelor was going to talk himself out of the sticky situation.

Brayden explained to Charity how they were still learning about each other and the other guys were promising an engagement without understanding the gravity of what that means. Brayden told The Bachelorette star that he was just being honest with her and wasn't sure if he'd be ready for an engagement by the Final Rose Ceremony.

But Charity asked Brayden why he was on The Bachelorette if he wasn't okay with her dating other men.

"I know what it was, but it's not easy. I felt a lot of guilt during this process... because I know you want an engagement," Brayden shared.

"But you haven't met my family yet and I've met your brother, barely. To say any of that stuff at this point in time, I feel, is not taking it serious. I think that is more so taking this as a joke. My hesitancies are more real than what anyone else is expressing."

Charity said she wasn't asking for more than Brayden could give her, and Brayden said he was giving Charity all that he could in the moment.

Charity felt a strong connection with Brayden, so she wasn't sure if she should risk her heart and feelings on him. The cocktail party was cut short because The Bachelorette host Jesse Palmer announced that Charity was feeling "conflicted."

James was especially disappointed because he hadn't received any time with Charity, and Tanner announced that Brayden and Aaron B. had "f-cked everybody" that night.

Before the Rose Ceremony, Jesse asked Charity if she trusted Brayden, and The Bachelorette star replied, "I don't know."

At the Rose Ceremony, Charity asked the guys to only accept a rose if they could see themselves being in a serious relationship with her and potentially getting engaged at the end of the show.

"I'm actually having an internal battle right now... with Brayden, I am still [confused]," Charity told the cameras.

"Do I want to deal with waiting for someone to get there? It is literally reminding me so much of my past relationship. I am trying to give this man so many opportunities, but at what expense? My head is saying, 'Send him home,' but my heart is saying, 'I feel something for this man.' I am afraid of making a mistake."

Charity then handed out roses to Aaron B., Caleb, Xavier, Joey, Michael, John, Sean, and Tanner.

Charity ultimately decided to allow Brayden to keep his rose, and so James, Aaron S., and Adrian were sent home. Charity wanted to see her connection with Brayden through, and she hoped her gut would be right.
