The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher was a little uneasy when she began her journey to find a husband, according to former The Bachelor star Sean Lowe.

The Bachelor family probably already feels small to its contestants, but Lowe just proved it's even smaller.

"It's actually funny," Lowe told People when asked to talk about Fletcher. "I'm actually friends with her brother back home in Dallas. Talking to him, he said that she was kind of nervous going in, didn't know what to expect."

Lowe, 32, met his now-pregnant wife Catherine Giudici on the seventeenth season of The Bachelor and therefore has some advice for Fletcher, 25, as she's currently filming The Bachelorette's upcoming twelfth edition.

"Have fun, go in there with an open mind, an open heart," Lowe said. "Have fun, enjoy it and if you're lucky, or I should probably say 'blessed,' you might find someone as good as I did. Find your life partner."

Giudici, 30, sweetly added, "Yeah, and then we can hang out together in Dallas."

The couple, who are expecting their first child, also offered up some wisdom for Season 20's Bachelor Ben Higgins and his new fiancee Lauren Bushnell.

"I think the most important thing is you just have to commit to each other," Lowe explained to the magazine. "It's going to be tough, you're going to face all kinds of challenges and obstacles. Commit and don't let these distractions get in the way, and you'll be fine."

The Bachelorette is set to premiere Monday, May 19 from 9-11PM ET/PT on ABC. To read details the network recently released about Fletcher's journey to find love, click here.
