"Drumline" executive producer Dallas Austin is working LMNO productions to create a reality TV show revolving around marching bands.

Austin is a music producer who has worked with artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson and TLC, Daily Variety reported. His own experiences in marching band inspired "Drumline," the college marching band film starring Nick Cannon.

The plan for the TV show would be to recruit marching band musicians from throughout the United States and throw them all together in a boot camp-type setting.

The show would be set as a competition with the winner getting a part in the national touring stage show of "Halftime Live."
