Colt Johnson was a 33-year-old software engineer from Las Vegas, NV and Larissa Christina Dos Santos Lima was a 31-year-old from Brazil when she arrived in America on a K-1 visa.

After originally appearing on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance, Colt and Larissa also returned for Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

They couple met online when Colt decided to look overseas for love because he wasn't having much luck with American women.  According to Colt, U.S. women didn't seem to like that he lived with his mother, Debbie Johnson.

After communicating online, Colt and Larissa decided to met in person in Cancun, Mexico.

It only took five days for Colt to realize he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Larissa, and so he proposed marriage to her, and 90 Day Fiance's sixth season showed Larissa moving to America and getting settled into the home Colt shares with Debbie and their cats in Vegas.

While 90 Day Fiance's episodes showed the couple having several ups and downs, Colt and Larissa eventually got married and tied the knot on June 24, 2018, according to Clark County Clerk records obtained by Reality TV World.

However, Colt and Larissa's relationship remained extremely volatile in the months following their wedding.

In November 2018, Larissa was arrested for domestic battery after she posted a series of troubling comments and Instagram Stories on her Instagram account that culminated with the 90 Day Fiance star asking her followers for help and claiming she had locked herself in a bathroom after Colt took her phone when the couple had an argument.

According to Larissa, the incident occurred because Colt didn't want her to post anything about him online so "girls" would think he is still single.

While the Clark County District Attorney eventually declined to pursue charges against Larissa, it subsequently emerged that she had also previously been arrested and charged with domestic battery in June and that court case had only been dismissed in October.

Then, in December 2018, Larissa took to Instagram several additional times and claimed Colt was still flirting and texting with other women and posted examples of numerous photos and text exchanges she had found on Colt's phone.

According to Larissa, Colt now believed he could find "someone new" and "better" that would be able to handle his close relationship with his mother Debbie, who was still living with the couple despite 90 Day Fiance's broadcasts showing the three adults discussing getting separate homes.

"Colt is cheating [on] me with this girl!" Larissa captioned a December Instagram posting of screenshot of a text-message exchange between Colt and the woman. "And [he has] plans to use me until he finish Happily Ever After."

Colt's cousin, John Maymoun -- who was shown accusing Larissa of only being with Colt for his money and U.S. residency on 90 Day Fiance's sixth season -- subsequently confirmed Colt and Larissa were going to be part of Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

"I appear on the show only to bring [Colt's mother] Debbie a birthday gift and Larissa flowers," he told RadarOnline in December.

However, in January 2019, Colt and Larissa got into a violent late-night fight that left both parties bloodied and resulted in Larissa later being arrested for domestic violence for a third time.

Colt filed for divorce in Clark County Court the following day, according to court records obtained by Reality TV World.

On April 1, 2019, Colt's lawyer released a statement saying that the pair had reached a divorce agreement and it was the process of being written up to be signed and submitted to the judge overseeing the case.

Colt and Larissa's divorce was finalized on April 30, 2019. The agreement states that neither Colt or Larissa will receive spousal support, and reportedly requires them not to "slander, defame, disparage or communicate untruths" about the other.

Larissa moved on from her relationship with Colt quickly and debuted her "handsome" new boyfriend Eric Nichols on social media in February 2019.

"Because of you, I laugh a little harder, cry a little less, and smile a lot more," she gushed in one posting.

However, in September 2019, Larissa suddenly took to Instagram and announced she and Eric -- who had subsequently appeared on Happily Ever After's Season 4 Tell-All special -- had split.

"We're done," Larissa captioned a photo of the former couple smiling and holding each other.

"After eight months of being Erickee's girlfriend, I have to tell my followers that we have decided to break up and go our separate way," Larissa wrote alongside another image that read "Break Up Note" in big, bold, red letters.

"There is no hard feelings or regrettees, but I need to look in my own soul and focus on being the best Larissa I can be. I try to heal one painful breakup by jumping in relationship with Erickee but I know now I need to work on me and focus on my healing of my scars."

However, despite her public announcement, Larissa and Eric later reconciled (only to later break up again in late 2020).

Colt and Larissa returned to TLC -- separately -- for Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, which premiered on the network in June 2020.

Colt also appeared on The Single Life, a 90 Day Fiance spinoff airing on discovery+, the new streaming service TLC's parent company launched in 2021.

The Single Life follows 90 Day Fiance alums as they resume dating following divorces from their former 90 Day Fiance spouses.

In November 2020, eyewitnesses spotted The Single Life's cameras filming Colt as he was down on one knee proposing marriage to Vanessa Guerra.

Larissa subsequently alluded to Colt's engagement by reposting a photo of Colt proposing to Vanessa in her Instagram Stories.

"Congratulations to my ex," she wrote on her post.
