90 Day Fiance star Shekinah Garner has filed for divorce from Sarper Guven, just days after she launched a fiery message about the demise of their relationship on social media.

"Filing for divorce was not a decision I made lightly or without heartbreak, but I've reached a point of no return," Shekinah told TMZ.

"I'm choosing to let go with love, grieve what I believed we could have been, and begin moving forward with my life."

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Shekinah filed for divorce on Monday, September 28 and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

Shekinah said she and Sarper had tied the knot on November 11, 2024, and then separated on September 22, 2026 -- the same day Shekinah had posted a scathing statement about her split from Sarper.

Shekinah is reportedly asking for spousal support in the divorce, but she said the pair's property and debts still need to be sorted out.

On September 22, Shekinah claimed on Instagram that Sarper tried to have full control of their narrative on 90 Day: The Last Resort's Season 3 Tell All.

Shekinah wrote in part on Instagram that Sarper had chosen "the single life" while she remained "faithful" to him, although Sarper claimed on the Tell-All that he hadn't hooked up with or dated any women since his split from Shekinah.

"[One time] I had been crying five minutes before he walked on stage [for his comedy routine], I was expected to sit there where he could see me and laugh along at jokes about me and our marriage because he needed me to laugh at them," Shekinah wrote.

Shekinah claimed that Sarper was "a very different" person with her behind closed doors.

"He would stay cooped up in the dark all day, doom-scrolling on his phone, easily irritated with me, impatient, cold and uininterested in talking or spending any time together outside of having sex," Shekinah alleged.

Shekinah said being alone with her husband became "unbearable" and she felt pressure "to be the perfect 'flawless' object" of his affection.

"My emotions were an inconvenience to him. He had zero patience with me... I wondered why complete strangers were getting the version of my husband that I desperately wanted too," Shekinah noted, adding how Sarper made their marriage "the punchline" in his comedy routine.

Shekinah said Sarper made her feel like "an object" and it was "degrading" to her.

"Last November he kicked... me off his tour. So many things happened that were incredibly hurtful... I went back to LA after that, and lived very much alone -- sometimes only seeing him for a couple days out of the month," Shekinah said.

"I was very lonely, I felt abandoned. I finally left that painful reminder of his absence by moving to Miami to start a fresh chapter with my daughter who was starting college there."

On 90 Day: The Last Resort's Tell All, Sarper claimed that Shekinah abruptly moved to Miami without him and immediately asked for thousands of dollars in order to support herself there. Sarper insinuated that her greed ultimately ended their marriage.

"He came to see me a few times in Miami. I'd hear things about him being on dating apps, being seen with girls, all while I had him in my phone asking to meet up with me," Shekinah wrote in her Instagram post, adding how their relationship had become "a situationship."

Shekinah wrapped up her message by apologizing to her daughter for having to heal from another failed relationship.

"I hope someday when you choose a partner, you choose the exact opposite of what you watched me accept," Shekinah wrote. "I hope you never let someone who couldn't love you properly convince you that you're difficult to love."

Sarper, for his part, also posted about his breakup with Shekinah on September 22 via Instagram.

"I don't want to attack her or speak badly about her online, regardless of what has been said about me, talked sh*t about me, and tried to drag me down. Whatever happened between us happened, and I don't want to turn four years of memories into an online war," Sarper wrote in part.

But Sarper attempted to "make one thing clear" by writing, "Despite what she has claimed, I never chose fame or money over her. I wish we could have found peace together."

Sarper also insisted the pair had been separated for at least eight months since the beginning of 2026.

"And neither of us sees ourselves as married anymore. In my heart and in my mind, I am SINGLE now," Sarper said.

"Until I reached that point, I was 100% loyal to her. But when I finally took off my ring and, as painful as it was, took her out of that place in my heart, I started living my life as a SINGLE person."

Sarper also claimed that he really loved Shekinah and was still hurting by their split.
