America's Got Talent third-season open auditions began Sunday in Atlanta and will continue into April, with additional stops in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York.

Casting stops in the aforementioned cities include both auditions and show tapings, with judges David Hasselhoff, Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne critiquing the hopefuls along with a studio audience.  America's Got Talent auditions are open to people of any age, and those planning to try-out can pre-register via NBC's website.

NBC renewed America's Got Talent for a third season last August prior to Terry Fator, a ventriloquist from Dallas, being crowned the show's second-season champion during a live finale broadcast.  America's Got Talent's second season was last summer's No. 1 series, averaging 11.4 million total viewers in its Tuesdays at 8PM ET/PT time period.
