There were a few contributing factors that apparently led to Corey Haim's death, however none of them were drug-related.

The Los Angeles County Coroner announced Tuesday that the former The Two Corey's star died from natural causes and a drug test "revealed no significant contributing factors," Peoplereported.
Instead, the coroner attributed the cause of death to damage to the air sacs in his lungs, pneumonia and a hardening of his heart muscle with plaque build-up within the blood vessels, according to People.
While a California Attorney General investigation last month revealed that Haim used "doctor shopping" to obtain 553 prescription pills -- including Valium, Vicodin, Xanax and Soma -- in the two months before his death, the coroner ruled that drugs weren't a factor.
Haim's mother Judy -- who was being cared for by her son in the months leading up to his death because she is battling breast cancer -- had previously stated the coroner's office told her Haim had an enlarged heart and suffered pulmonary congestion that they felt had contributed to his death.
