Christina El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa reportedly have every intention of going forward with another season of Flip or Flop despite their divorce.

The couple split in Spring 2016 and Tarek filed for divorce in early January 2017, but against all odds, the reality TV stars continued to film Season 7 of Flip or Flop for HGTV.

Despite recent rumors of drama on the set of filming -- and Tarek even admitting it's not easy to work so closely with your estranged spouse -- Christina and Tarek want to film an eighth season of Flip or Flop, TMZ reported.

The pair is also allegedly excited for the attention the show's upcoming five spinoffs will bring to their original version.

According to sources close to the show, Christina and Tarek are currently in talks with HGTV for a new season, shutting down previous reports Flip or Flop will end after its seventh edition airs.

In Touch Weekly reported Wednesday that five sources insist Flip or Flop is not shooting Season 8 and that HGTV has no plans to do so.

"They won't go beyond what they've already shot. There will be only the spinoff shows with the new couples in different cities," a high-level network source revealed to the magazine. "Christina El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa won't be filming more episodes. Season 7 is their last."

TMZ is also refuting claims that Christina is looking to land her own TV series.

"She's shopping an interior design show around," an insider told In Touch.

"She's drawing a lot of interest and feels HGTV will let her out of her contract. She has impressed several people at other networks who can give her a new show. They think she's a hot commodity."

Ratings, however, are holding strong for Flip or Flop, which wraps its sixth season March 30 on HGTV.

HGTV refused to comment on Season 8 but reportedly shared that "Flip or Flop still is in active production on Season 7 of the series. No additional new info to share beyond that statement."

In late February, Tarek told Entertainment Tonight, "At this point right now, we haven't 100 percent made the decision" on whether to keep cameras rolling for Flip or Flop long-term. Tarek was referring to his professional relationship with Christina in light of their divorce.
