The American Idol seventh-season runner-up will perform his single "A Little Too Not Over You" during Wednesday's live eighth-season results show at 9PM ET/PT on Fox.

In addition to Archuleta's performance, disco icons Harry Wayne "KC" Casey of KC and the Sunshine Band, Thelma Houston and Freda Payne will also perform a medley of their hits "Get Down Tonight," "Don't Leave Me this Way" and "Band of Gold."

The broadcast will conclude with two eighth-season finalists being eliminated based on home viewer votes cast after Tuesday night's performance episode -- revealing the Top 5 finalists.

Archuleta recently concluded a 20-date concert tour.  His self-titled debut album dropped at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album sales chart after selling 183,000 copies during its initial week of release last November.

"A Little Too Not Over You" was released in January.
