David Archuleta will be hitting the road this spring, as the American Idol seventh-season runner-up has announced he will embark on a 20-date concert tour.
Archuleta's tour announcement comes less than a week after Idol seventh-season champ David Cook announced he will also be hitting the road with a 37-date spring concert tour that will mostly visit college campuses.
Archuleta's self-titled debut album dropped at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album sales chart after selling 183,000 copies during its initial week of release last November. The album has since sold a total of 597,000 copies and currently sits at No. 53 on The Billboard 200. The dates and locations for Archuleta's upcoming tour are: February 24 Virginia Beach, VA February 25 Richmond, VA February 26 Sayerville, NJ February 28 Lancaster, PA March 1 Allentown PA March 2 Northampton, MA March 3 Clarence, NY March 5 Columbus, OH March 6 Madison, WI March 7 Duluth, MN March 8 Chicago, IL March 10 Oklahoma City, OK March 11 Beaumont, TX March 12 San Antonio, TX March 14 Albuquerque, NM March 16 Phoenix, AZ March 17 Pomona, CA March 18 Reno, NV March 20 Idaho Falls, ID March 21 Boise, ID |
