America's Next Top Model 2 - Episode 9 Summary

'The 'Sex' Episode' By Isabelle Murray

Before we start this week’s episode, there is a big disclaimer saying that some subject matters are not for everyone, blah blah blah, you get the picture.  This week’s show is rated PG-14.  So, if we had any doubt that this was going to be THE orgy episode that was the talk of the net, well, this is it.
 
We start off with the girls talking about stuff that they need to work on to win:  super-Zen-girl (Yoanna) talks about toning her midsection and how she has not been as good as she should have been on her diet and exercise regimen; and super-Asian-girl (April) talks about the fact that she is too analytical and needs to work on that.  Super-shy-girl (Shandi) says that she misses her boyfriend tremendously. 

They have Tyra mail that contains some Italian words (among them, “bellissima”) and they are told that they will soon learn their meaning.  The next day, they meet super-Italian-designer (Stephen Fairchild).  Both super-Zen-girl (Yoanna) and super-frizzy-girl (Mercedes) know who this designer is.  Super-frizzy-girl is actually delighted that she finally knows someone.  Super-Italian-designer says that he will talk about Italian sexiness, which is different from the American sexiness.  So, he asks the girls to go through his showroom and choose one outfit that they think is sexy and would look good on them.  When they showed the girls going through the clothes, it seemed very hard to choose just one thing.  After they have made their choice, they have to wear the outfit and super-Italian-designer comments on them.

• Super-Asian-girl (April) is wearing a raincoat.  I don’t know why she thought that a raincoat is sexy (mind you, someone I knew thought that a woman in a coat was sexy because you don’t know what she is wearing underneath) but that’s what she had on.  Super-Italian-designer asks her to remove the coat.  Underneath, she has a superb tank top.  He tells her that she needs to show her arms and her legs more.

• Super-shy-girl (Shandi) was wearing large pants and I believe a tank top.  The comment anyway was on the pants:  super-Italian-designer told her that she probably chooses normally pants that were too baggy.  He also said that she had probably greater legs than she gives herself credit for and she should show them more.

• Super-frizzy-girl (Mercedes) was wearing a cute black outfit.  Super-Italian-designer said that she needed to be elongated more because she had somewhat short legs.  Super-frizzy-girl seemed a bit surprised by the comment; it might be the first time that she ever heard that.

• Super-Zen-girl (Yoanna) is also wearing an all-black outfit.  She was wearing something kind of like a suit.  It was very elegant.  Well, super-Italian-designer asked her to remove the jacket and that’s where things got bad:  we could see some skin and/or fat caught between the top and the pants.  It was not very pretty.  The poor girl was on the verge of tears.  Super-Italian-designer told her that she needed to make sure her midrift section was covered.

So, now that they had done this, super-Italian-designer (Stephen Fairchild) dressed them up as he thought that they should be dressed up to look “Italian sexy”.  Well, it was really good.  I think that super-frizzy-girl (Mercedes) looked the best with her little checkered cap and her form-fitting pants and her jacket.  She commented on how she understood what “Italian sexy” meant:  close-fitting clothes!  Super-Italian-designer told them to remember what he had just said because, the next day, they would each be given 200 Euros to go shopping at the flea market and come up with an “Italian sexy” outfit.  The winner of this challenge would get to spend the night at his villa.

Well, that night, super-Zen-girl (Yoanna) decided to invite one of the boys who traveled with them on scooter in Episode 8.  He said that he would come and bring some friends.  Both super-Zen-girl and super-frizzy-girl (Mercedes) were single so they were ready for some fun.  Super-Asian-girl (April) said that she had a boyfriend so she was not going to do anything really but she was going to have fun.  Super-shy-girl (Shandi) looked like she was the least comfortable with the idea –after all, she has a boyfriend that she missed terribly – but still went on with it.  So the guys arrive with food and wine.  Everybody starts drinking.  Super-frizzy-girl admits that she was starting to feel fiiine.  It’s a big party.

Super-Zen-girl (Yoanna) is VERY interested in one guy named Nicolo; she takes him to her room to show her something and winds up kissing him.  The door to her room has a frosted glass on it so we see her back and it’s clear that she is kissing him.  Super-Asian-girl (April) and super-shy-girl (Shandi) are giggling like school girls and decide, with the help of everybody, to crash their party:  they open the door and all drop on the bed.  It’s funny.  They all decide to head to the hot tub.
