ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" is ready to settle its season finale controversy once and for all, officials announced Thursday.

Winner Kelly Monaco and runner-up John O'Hurley will return Sept. 20 in the special "Dancing with the Stars: Dance Off" -- with a results show scheduled two nights later, Zap2it.com reported.

O'Hurley, most famous before "Dancing" as Elaine's boss on "Seinfeld," racked up high praise from the judges during the popular summer replacement series. But "General Hospital" star Monaco ended up upsetting the favorite when she received perfect scores from all three judges in the finale.

This time, ABC said, the winner will be determined by viewer votes only, with the judges merely offering their critiques.

The stars will be paired with the dance professionals they performed with the last go-round, ABC said.
