New York is hoping the third time's a charm, but it won't be Flava Flav who's the object of her affection.

VH1 has announced that I Love New York, a new reality series that will follow two-time Flavor of Love runner-up Tiffany "New York" Pollard as she whittles her way through 20 men who are competing for her heart, will premiere on Monday, January 8 at 9PM ET/PT.

"New York is a beautiful, spirited and sexy woman who deserves a man who appreciates her," said executive producers Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego.

In the series, those competing will try to win over New York by flexing their muscles, working their game and opening their wallets while at the same time trying to not raise her ire.  New York's mom Sister Patterson -- never a big fan of Flava Flav -- will assist her daughter in chosing the right man.

I Love New York is executive produced by Cronin, Abrego and Ben Samek for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures, who also produce Celebrity Paranormal Project, My Fair Brady, and of course, Flavor of Love, which saw more than 7 million viewers tune-in to watch New York get spurned by Flava Flav for a second time around this past October.

"New York is one of the most outrageous reality personalities we have ever seen (so) this show should be a lot of fun," said Cronin and Abrego.

New York fans who feel they can't wait until January 8 to watch the premiere can catch a sneak peak of the entire episode beginning January 2 on VSPOT, a broadband entertainment network that delivers VH1's video programming on-demand through the Internet.  Each episode of I Love New York will also be available on VSPOT in its entirety for 48 hours every Friday following the VH1 on-air broadcast.  In addition, VSPOT will air exclusive shorts featuring New York and her mom evaluating potential suitors for the show.  The shorts are currently available on VSPOT.
