NBC has announced actress and singer Christina Milian is replacing Alison Haislip as the new Social Media Correspondent for the second season of The Voice.

"Christina's extensive musical background and widespread recognition make her the perfect choice for the role of Social Media Correspondent on The Voice," NBC reality chief Paul Telegdy said in a statement.

"Her experience as a singer will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition. She is a hugely valuable addition as we prepare for another spectacular season."

The Voice's second season will premiere after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5 at approximately 10PM ET/PT and begin airing at its regular time the following night on Monday, February 6 at 8PM ET/PT.
