Hamilton announced on Instagram Monday she has given birth to her first child.

"Blessed to welcome our son, Tobias, into the world. Born June 1st, 7.9 lbs. and 21 [inches] Long. He is named after his great grandpa Tobias meaning 'The goodness of God.' Adam and I so in love with our lil guy and are stoked to share life with him! #stokedmomma," Hamilton captioned a photo of her new little family.

Hamilton, a 25-year-old pro surfer who lost her left arm in a shark attack in 2003, announced she was pregnant and expecting a baby boy back in February via a video she had posted on her Facebook page with Dirks. She was 22 weeks along in her pregnancy at the time.

"So, we have a little surprise for you -- baby on board!" Hamilton yelled with excitement.

Hamilton admitted in the video that holding and changing "a squirming baby" might be "really challenging" with one arm, but she'll "adjust and adapt to different things" just like she does in her everyday life.

"I'll just have to find my own way to take care of the baby," Hamilton explained. "And of course Adam will help... I'll figure it out and be creative."

The couple got married in August 2013. They finished The Amazing Race's 25th season in third place.
