Married at First Sight star Iris Caldwell admits her divorce from Keith Manley was really hard and watching back some of the things he had to say about her during their season wasn't any easier.

Iris wanted to stay married when it became time for the couples to continue working on their marriages or get divorced on "Decision Day," but Keith blindsided her and opted to proceed with a divorce.

In one of nearly 50 videos Iris posted to her Instagram Stories late last week, Iris shared the last time she saw Keith.

"Y'all been waiting for this question to be answered... Y'all know I'm straight up honest with all my Q&As, so I'm about to be honest," Iris began in a brief video clip.

"Last time I saw Keith was at reunion -- and that was months ago."

Iris was referring to Married at First Sight's reunion special when the four couples from Season 9 gathered in-studio together two months after "Decision Day" taped to provide updates on their relationships. The reunion aired September 19 on Lifetime.

Keith choosing to file for divorce from Iris shocked many Married at First Sight viewers because they seemed to have a very healthy relationship during the show.

The pair rarely fought during their eight-week marriage, and Keith and Iris supported each other during tough times -- including the death of Keith's beloved grandmother.

Iris therefore admitted in the Q&A with her Instagram followers she had a difficult time moving on from her relationship with Keith once cameras wrapped filming.

"So, for the first phase of our separation, it was really hard y'all. Like, I was growing in emotions with this guy and thinking about our future and babies," Iris explained.

"And to have all that ripped from me, was really, really hard, but I have definitely healed a lot since then and there's been a lot of time. So, I'm good."

Keith told the cameras he wanted to split from Iris because of her alleged lack of emotional maturity due to her lack of sexual and relationship experience.

Iris, however, seemed to think during filming that Keith simply had an issue with the fact she was a virgin.

When asked how she felt watching the Married at First Sight episodes back and listening to Keith talk about her in confessionals, Iris appeared angry.

"I actually never heard Keith say the word 'immature' a day in my life until watching it on TV, live in front of the world," Iris admitted.

Iris insisted being "immature" is the common -- and probably the biggest -- misconception about her.

The topic of reconciliation came up during the reunion special for Keith and Iris. Iris confessed she'd be willing to give Keith another chance if he'd be up for marriage counseling, but he expressed there was probably no hope of them getting back together.

Keith confessed he really wasn't ready for a wife, and he believed at the time Iris wasn't ready to be a wife either.

Although Keith crushed Iris on Married at First Sight, Iris established lasting friendships and insisted the show had made her stronger, wiser and more confident than ever.

The tenth season of Married at First Sight is set to premiere January 1 on Lifetime and feature couples who live in the Washington, D.C area.

The series has also been picked up for an eleventh edition, which will also air next year and likely be filmed in New Orleans, LA, based on a recent casting call.

Married at First Sight features experts matching up pairs of strangers based on their compatibility, goals, physical type, hobbies, religion, views of marriage and gender roles, and more.

Last season's experts were sociologist Dr. Pepper, marriage counselor Pastor Calvin Roberson, and newcomer Dr. Viviana Coles, a psychotherapist who replaced Dr. Jessica Griffin.

After meeting for the first time on their big day, each couple gets married and the next six to eight weeks of their lives are documented -- beginning with their wedding ceremony, reception and honeymoon, and continuing with the joys and struggles of daily life as they move in together and adjust to their new life as newlyweds.

In addition to Iris and Keith, Married at First Sight's ninth season also ended with Amber Bowles and Matthew Gwynne getting a divorce.

However, two couples chose to stay together on "Decision Day": Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson as well as Deonna McNeill and Gregory Okotie.
