John Heffron, the winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing 2" reality series, has signed a six-figure development deal with ABC and Touchstone.

The studios will either develop a show specifically for the Michigan native or cast him in another project, Daily Variety reports.

Part of his prize for winning "Last Comic Standing" was a development deal with NBC, but when nothing panned out he was free to pursue other offers.

Heffron has been on the road doing standup for the past 65 weeks, Variety said.
