Kris Jenner will guest star on The Mindy Project.

The 59-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is confirmed to appear on an upcoming episode of the Fox comedy. Series star Mindy Kaling announced the news Monday on Instagram, writing, "Mindy Lahiri & Kris Jenner: Best friends? @krisjenner #comingsoon #themindyproject."

"She's playing herself," a source revealed of Jenner to Us Weekly. "She shows up at the grand opening of Mindy's fertility clinic and gives Mindy advice about womanhood."

Kaling teased a special appearance to E! News in January, saying, "We have a guest star coming up this spring that I think is the single biggest, most exciting guest star we've ever had." Her character, Mindy Lahiri, previously declared a signed photo of Jenner her most prized possession.

"The Mindy Project" is in the midst of a third season, and airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET.

The comedy follows OB/GYN Mindy Lahiri in her personal and professional life, and co-stars Chris Messina as Danny Castellano, Ed Weeks as Jeremy Reed and Ike Barinholtz as Morgan Tookers.
