Joan Rivers claims she's moving from the red carpet to the boardroom.

The 75-year-old comedian said she will compete on The Celebrity Apprentice's second season, The Canadian Jewish News reported Thursday.

Rivers was interviewed by The Canadian Jewish News about her upcoming visit to Montreal for the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and was asked what she currently has on her plate.

"I have a play in Edinburgh that will go to London. I have two books coming out. I have a tour going around with my comedy act. I have my jewelry company. I perform Wednesday nights at The Cutting Room," she told The Canadian Jewish News.  "I'm in a series called Z Rock coming to IFC, doing a TV pilot, offered another game show and will be on Celebrity Apprentice."

However Rivers quickly admitted she has never seen The Apprentice's celebrity spin-off -- which premiered earlier this year and was won by America's Got Talent Judge Piers Morgan.

"They are going to send me tapes," said Rivers.

NBC renewed The Celebrity Apprentice for a second season in March and its taping is scheduled to commence this fall.  The network declined to comment on Rivers' participation when contacted by The New York Post.

"We can't confirm any casting until an official announcement closer to the air date," an NBC spokeswoman told The Post.

Rivers was one of several prominent celebrities Donald Trump gushed about as participating in The Celebrity Apprentice's first season before the actual cast was revealed and ended up being decidedly D-list.

In addition to Rivers, The Post reported former Dancing with the Stars fourth-season participant Heather Mills; Keeping up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian; Celebrity Mole Yucatan winner Dennis Rodman; and Tony Danza have also been "bandied about" as The Celebrity Apprentice second-season contestants.
