Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi blamed "too many tequilas" for her foulmouthed outburst during her arrest last week for disorderly conduct.

"Too many tequilas. What are you going to do? It wasn't a good time, but I didn't hurt anybody," Snooki said Friday at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, Calif., the New York Daily News reported.

"You can't tell me what to do -- I'm Snooki," Polizzi reportedly yelled at the arresting officers in Seaside Heights, N.J. "Do you know who I am? I'm f------ Snooki. You can't do this to me. I'm f------ Snooki. You guys are going to be sorry for this. Release me!"

Snooki's friend Deena Nicole Cortese is the newest character to join the cast of the MTV reality show. She describes herself as "class in a glass and party in a body."
