"The Real Housewives of New York City" star Kelly Killoren Bensimon will not be part of an upcoming Saks advertising campaign, the U.S. chain says.

The upscale department store chain confirmed the 40-year-old model has been dropped from one of its campaigns following Bensimon's legal battle over assault allegations made by her boyfriend, Nick Stefanov, the New York Post reported Sunday.

Bensimon's court battle and lost advertising paycheck represents the most recent unfortunate turn of events to befall the cast of the Bravo network series.

Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Bensimon's co-star, recently learned her husband had left her for another woman, the Post said.

Another "Housewives" co-star, Alex McCord, has lost her job at Victoria's Secret, where the 35-year-old worked as a graphic designer.

The Post said despite the women's personal struggles, their reality TV series has blossomed in its second season with a 50 percent increase in ratings figures compared with its first-season averages.
