The Golden Bachelor's Susan Noles has explained why she believes Leslie Fhima and Theresa Nist were the right picks -- and the best match -- for Gerry Turner out of his entire cast of bachelorettes.

And now, The Golden Bachelor finale is right around the corner -- as it's airing Thursday, November 30 on ABC -- and Gerry will have a big decision to make about whom should be his winner and potential fiancee.

"So as I take it all in, I think us big-personality people are not for Gerry," Susan recently told Extra TV when asked to reveal her pick for Gerry.

"I think he needs somebody that just google eyes and admires him and lets him be him -- and they're along for the ride."

When Gerry was down to only three women -- Theresa, Leslie and Faith Martin -- on his The Golden Bachelor journey to find love, Susan actually predicted that Faith would probably go home in third place after Fantasy Suites.

"[I'd go with] Leslie or Theresa. Faith was a very strong, independent woman," Susan explained at the time.

"Not that [Leslie and Theresa] aren't independent, but they just have that..."

Susan stopped in her tracks when describing Gerry's Final 2 bachelorettes, seemingly out of fear she'd say something wrong or offensive. She therefore just concluded her explanation by asking Extra, "You get me?!"

As far as her own experience on the show goes, Susan admitted she and Gerry were stuck in the friend zone during The Golden Bachelor season.

"I think it was by the time we did the Pickleball game that I realized we were buddies. I made the man laugh a lot, and some of the things he said to me were like, 'You're a good friend,'" Susan recalled.

The 66-year-old wedding officiant from Aston, PA, elaborated of her dynamic with Gerry, "And [at] the Rose Ceremonies, when he would tear up and look around the room, [I'd make him laugh or smile] and he'd always come to me later and say, 'That means so much to me, Susan. Thank you.'"

Susan confirmed that she and Gerry had "bonded" but it simply wasn't "a romantic bond," and she added, "It's either there or it isn't."

Susan, however, left The Golden Bachelor with one big takeaway.

"I've learned that I am not a woman that needs a man. I'm a woman that a man needs," Susan quipped to People in late October.

"I have a big heart. I love to love, and I was on the dating sites and did all that, and it's crazy out there. It's a different world and that you don't meet people organically, unfortunately, anymore."

Susan added, "I learned something about myself that I don't need anything. I am good, so I'm the prize."

While Susan is not surprised by Gerry's final two picks, Leslie and Theresa, fellow contestant April Kirkwood recently confessed that she was shocked Gerry had let Ellen Goltzer go before hometown dates.

"But, you know men, sometimes they think in the kitchen area," April quipped on "The Viall Files" podcast.

"One thing I learned: Men are men [and] whether 70 or 17, they're all driven by hormones."

Whether he based his decision on hormones or not, Gerry could only pick one woman at the end of The Golden Bachelor.

Gerry said during a recent appearance on the "Life Is Short with Justin Long" podcast that he could "wholeheartedly" see himself remaining friends with all 22 of his bachelorettes.

"I genuinely wish I would've had more time to get to know them even better," Gerry shared. "But absent of that, I think I would call each of those 22 women a friend."
