The Bachelorette star Katie Thurston will be kept busy trying to get to know 30 bachelors when Season 17 premieres on ABC tonight.

Katie, a 30-year-old bank marketing manager from Lynnwood, WA, was revealed as The Bachelorette's Season 17 star on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special for Matt James' The Bachelor season back in March.

"I'm ready to find love, and not just, like, the temporary kind. I'm talking forever, my husband, and I'm in a place in my life where I feel like I'm the best version of me," Katie said.

"Honestly, I've seen this work before; why can't it work for me?"

Matt sent Katie home just before his The Bachelor season's hometown dates, but she made a lasting impression with both The Bachelor star and home viewers with her raunchy humor. She also put an end to bullying in the house and took pride in being unapologetically herself.

According to ABC, Katie will experience "a whirlwind first evening" during her The Bachelorette season's Night 1 cocktail party, with former Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams on-hand to guide and support Katie as replacements for Chris Harrison, who won't be hosting the season.

At the end of the night, only 23 lucky bachelors will remain to toast the new The Bachelorette star.

Katie's The Bachelorette season began filming on March 22 and wrapped production only a month later on April 24. That was "ahead of schedule," according to an Us Weekly source, because Katie was "in control" and decisive over the men she wanted to date or send packing.

The Bachelorette's seventeenth season will premiere with a two-hour premiere on Monday, June 7 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

Until then, let's learn more about Katie's impressive group of suitors who will be competing to win her heart and hopefully become her future husband.
