Survivor II To Air On Thursday Nights Opposite NBC's 'Friends'

CBS has announced "Survivor: The Australian Outback" will air Thursdays from 8-9 p.m. beginning Feb. 1, following its premiere after Super Bowl XXXV on Jan. 28. CBS hopes this slot will help them take a bite out of NBC's powerhouse "Must See" Thursday night television lineup that is anchored by 'Friends' and 'ER'. The show will occupy its former Wednesday night timeslot for two episodes on March 14 and March 21 because of CBS' coverage of the NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament on March 15 and 22.
