Heidi Klum's family just got a little bit bigger.
The couple already has two children together -- 4-year-old Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel and 2-year-old Johan Riley Fyoder Taiwo Samuel. In addition, Seal is also the adoptive father of 5-year-old Helene "Leni" Klum, Heidi's daughter from a previous relationship with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore.
"It's difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children. Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?" said Seal in a Monday night statement. "On Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 7:46 p.m., the answer to this question came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter. Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years." Klum's pregnancy was confirmed in April and she subsequently expressed a desire for her fourth child to be another girl because Leni "would love to have a little sister." Seal and Klum were married in May 2005, and she recently applied to change her last name to his surname of Samuel, People reported. |
