Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio reportedly wanted his baby mama Amanda Markert to have an abortion, and now she's using that information against him.

Markert, a 25-year-old VIP hostess and former Hooters waitress who gave birth to the former Jersey Shore star's daughter Amabella on May 15, is trying to sell media outlets copies of text messages in which DelVecchio asked her to get an abortion, TMZ reported.

In the text messages, DelVecchio, 33, reportedly offered to pay the bill to end the pregnancy considering he and Markert had only had a one-night stand in Las Vegas and were never in a relationship. TMZ even recently reported the pair "straight up hate each other."

Sources close to DelVecchio -- who also starred in his own The Pauly D Project spinoff series for one season -- also told the website the former Jersey Shore star actually gave Markert money for an abortion but she chose to keep the baby.

DelVecchio allegedly believes Markert is treating Amabella like a "winning lottery ticket," as she recently took a photo of their child sitting in a high chair covered in $100 bills.

However, DelVecchio apparently had a huge change of heart since wanting an abortion. He told TMZ, "I'm proud I'm a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life," and he's currently fighting for primary custody of Amabella because he thinks Markert is an unfit mother.
