The Bachelor 21 star Nick Viall has slammed Zach Shallcross for how he's treated a couple of his bachelorettes on the show's currently-airing 27th season.

"That's 2 weeks in [a] row now Zach was a total d-ck to one of the [women]," Nick, 42, wrote Monday on Twitter.

"It's literally all about the one on one. Zach knows that. He made [Jess Girod] feel like she messed up for expressing a valid concern. #thebachelor."

During the latest episode of The Bachelor, Jess, 23, expressed to Zach how she was disappointed, frustrated and losing confidence in her herself and their relationship because Zach had yet to invite her on a one-on-one date.

Nick -- who competed on two The Bachelorette seasons and appeared on one Bachelor in Paradise edition, in addition to his The Bachelor stint -- continued to give Zach a hard time as The Bachelor episode kept rolling on ABC.

"Zach is acting like the guy who gets mad at his girlfriend for not letting him know she wanted validation on her birthday #thebachelor," Nick joked.

Other than Greer Blitzer -- who was diagnosed with COVID-19 after visiting London and had to quarantine -- Jess was the only woman who had yet to accompany Zach on a solo date by the time they traveled to Estonia, which was Week 6 of Zach's journey to find love.

Instead of comforting Jess and validating her concerns, Zach criticized her focus on receiving a one-on-one date, which led to a tense exchange.

Jess explained that a bachelorette gets to spend a whole day with Zach on a one-on-one and she had been waiting for that time to tell her story and be more vulnerable with The Bachelor star.

Zach seemed bothered and surprised by Jess' emotion over her repeated group dates, which she insisted to Zach was "a big deal" to her and every other woman on the show.

"That shouldn't be a thing," Zach snapped, later adding, "I never want you to think of this as a process, where you can only open up on a one-on-one."

Zach ultimately pointed out how he and Jess had "a disconnect," and so they seemingly mutually agreed to part ways. Zach told the cameras that he and Jess were "butting heads" and he never expected their romance to end that way.

For Jess' part, she left the show in tears and a bit angry, venting in a confessional, "This doesn't feel fair. I'm so confused... I have done everything that he has asked, and... all I needed was quality time, and he wasn't processing that."

Jess continued, "Is it the craziest thing to want to go on a date with somebody I could potentially marry? Like, it's the craziest thing that I'm upset that I'm the last one [without a solo date]? If it's someone I want to marry, wouldn't I want to feel chosen right away?"

Jess lamented about how Zach being "shocked" by her hurt was "crazy" to her.

In regard to last week's The Bachelor episode and when Zach was supposedly "a total d-ck" again, Nick may have been referring to when Zach had scolded Greer in London for comparing their COVID-19 diagnoses.

Zach had snapped at the Houston-based medical sales representative for comparing his battle with COVID-19 amid his The Bachelor journey and pursuit of finding a wife to her prior positive COVID-19 test during a busy time at work.

Zach claimed their situations were "completely different."

He told Greer, "I just had to put it out there, like, it's not the same. In a few short weeks, I could be standing in front of my person, and that means a lot more to me than the end of a sales quarter."

Greer ended up receiving a rose at the franchise's first-ever virtual Rose Ceremony in London, but she took to Instagram last week and seemingly threw shade at Zach.

"Women who care about their careers are hot," Greer captioned an Instagram selfie on February 21.

While Nick has thrown jabs at Zach for his behavior on the show, The Bachelor alum Susie Evans is all about it.

Susie praised Zach for his "no bullsh-t approach" on the series in a recent TikTok video.
