Married at First Sight star Mindy Shiben has revealed her new relationship with boyfriend Wil Slickers has ended and she's going to move to Mexico.

The tenth-season Married at First Sight star just went Instagram official with Wil, who hosts Slick Talk: The Hospitality Podcast, in late September when she posted photos of the couple enjoying a vacation to Cancun, Mexico.

But Mindy just announced on Instagram that Wil broke up with her via text and she's ready to leave the country.

Mindy took to her Instagram Stories last week to bash how Wil had handled their split.

Mindy posted a screenshot of what appeared to be a text exchange with Wil and wrote over the image in big, bold letters, "WHEN A GUY BREAKS UP WITH YOU OVER TEXT," along with an eye-rolling emoticon.

The text message Wil allegedly sent to Mindy read, "Hey, so I don't think this is working for either of us. I woke up this morning pretty much mentally checked out. I don't wanna do this over text, but if you want to talk on the phone before I have more meetings, I'm up to it."

Mindy's then boyfriend allegedly continued, "I will always think you're beautiful and smart but again, I am just mentally checked out and think it's probably mutual that we can both see this isn't working. I'm sorry if I hurt you."

Mindy responded "agreed" but covered up the rest of her response with a large image of a red button that read "NEXT!"

Mindy must have added something along the lines of, "Best of luck," because Wil allegedly replied, "Best to you too," next to a frowning emoticon.

The conversation apparently ended with Mindy writing, "Please don't message me anymore."

In late April, Mindy revealed she was virtually dating someone new amid the coronavirus pandemic after ending her marriage to Zach Justice on Married at First Sight.

After announcing her breakup, Mindy also shared on her Instagram Stories, "To clarify, yes, that was the 'new guy.' Oh well, already over it. Life is too short. #allthesingleladies."

After initially venting her frustrations on Instagram Stories, Mindy posted a near three-minute video on her page to express regret and also offer her ex an apology.

"I felt like making a video. It's more for me than anybody else, but I just wanted to share what's going on with me... So obviously I went through a breakup this week with the new guy I was dating. It always sucks getting broken up with and it did hurt. I wasn't expecting it," Mindy explained.

"But I do regret I was pretty immature with how I handled it and I do regret, like, putting a personal text message out there. That was not cool, so I do apologize for that."

Mindy continued, "But what can I say? I'm human, I make mistakes. If you're human, you do as well. So hopefully we can just forget about that one and move on!"

"But no, it was a good learning experience for me," added the 34-year-old figure skating coach. "I know in the future I'm not going to be putting my relationship information on social media, at least not for a very long time. So, lesson learned there."

Mindy then switched gears in her video and said, "Onto the fun stuff!"

"I made a big, big life choice and I'm moving to Mexico -- at least temporarily," revealed Mindy, who is from Frederick, MD, and starred on Married at First Sight's Washington, D.C. season.

"I don't know, everything has been rough here. I know everyone can feel that with COVID and politics and all of it. It's just [hectic]. Work has not been the same, nothing has been the same, and I just need a fresh start."

Mindy's original plan was apparently to move to Mexico with Wil, who is obviously her boyfriend no more.

"This is something I decided to do a little while ago, with the ex-boyfriend. [He] was going to come with me. And of course he's not now, but I'm excited to do it solo," Mindy said.

It's likely Mindy and Wil discussed moving to Cancun given that's where they enjoyed their romantic getaway.

"It's going to be, like, my Eat, Pray, Love Mexico edition, and I hope that, you know, it's going to be a great time," Mindy noted.

Mindy explained she needs to move out of the United States to "recenter" herself and "get out of everything that's going on around here."

"But of course I'm still going to be on Instagram. Maybe I'll start a blog or something! I don't know," Mindy told her followers in the Instagram video.

"I'm going to have fun with it, but I'm going to put my focus really just on myself. So thanks to everybody who's just been so encouraging and supporting. It means everything to me, and that's it!"

When Mindy went Instagram official with Wil last month, she shared a slideshow of photos of the former couple in Mexico.

"@slicktalkpod Remember that time our first 'real' date turned into a vacation to Mexico? Told ya I was adventurous! And even though I spent most of my time rubbing aloe on your sunburn, I still had the time of my life," Mindy captioned the pictures.

"Can't wait til our next adventure, but until then, I took the liberty of enrolling us both in Spanish class. While we've mastered the phrase 'poquito espanol,' I think we can do even better."

After adding a winking emoticon, Mindy concluded, "Thanks to everyone at @oleohotels and @bestday_travel for helping make this a dream vaca! #allinclusiveresorts #cancun #hesmylobster #spf50."

Comments poured in from fans calling Wil an "upgrade" from Zach and saying Mindy deserves to be happy and treated well by a man.

Mindy first teased there was "someone special" in her life during an April episode of Married at First Sight alums Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner's Hot Marriage Cool Parents podcast.

"There is somebody. It's not, like, official because we haven't actually met in person, but there is someone special," Mindy gushed at the time.

When Mindy appeared on Jamie and Doug's podcast, she was quarantining at her mother's beach house in North Carolina. Since she wasn't working due to COVID-19, she said she had some free time on her hands and tested out virtual dating.

"I actually have been dating! Yeah! So it's hard right now, you know, with being quarantined and everything," Mindy shared.

"I know it sounds kind of dorky and everything, but I'm, like, into it! Because it's great that you can explore a connection and everything without any pressure or anything physical happening and stuff. So [the physical] is just completely off the table."

Mindy explained her experience virtual dating was the opposite of Married at First Sight because a connection is formed before meeting the person.

"It's just FaceTime, Zoom meetings, Skype, whatever you use. I'll cook a meal with somebody or I'll watch a movie or just have a drink. You do an actual kind of date," Mindy added.

Wil later confirmed he was indeed the "virtual dinner date guy" Mindy had previously mentioned to Jamie and Doug in a reply to a comment one of Mindy's followers made on the post announcing their relationship.

"Is this the 'virtual dinner date' guy?" the follower asked.

"That's me!" Wil replied, adding a laughing emoji.

Mindy was matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Viviana Coles and Pastor Calvin Roberson to wed Zach, a 33-year-old fitness professional from St. Mary's, GA, on Season 10 of the Lifetime series.

In early July, Mindy publicly called out Zach on Instagram by begging him to respond to her divorce requests. She accused Zach of ignoring her attempts to proceed with their divorce.

"Hey @thecasualathlete! Will you divorce me? Yes? No?" Mindy captioned a selfie from their wedding with the kiss-blowing emoticon. "Circle one. #thisgirwantsadivorce #checkyourtexts #crickets."

One of Mindy's followers asked in the comments section, "What? You haven't divorce him yet?"

"I've been trying!!" Mindy replied at the time.

But Zach wrote back to the exchange and slammed Mindy in the process, suggesting she had lied and was drunk when posting about their divorce.

"@mindy_shiben lol you've been trying? With what attorney and what papers? Please, don't lie to these people for attention, it's gross," Zach responded.

"Im sure you and Kinetic Content will be in the loop. #stayclassy #dontdrinkandgram," he added, referencing Married at First Sight's production company.

Finally getting Zach's attention, Mindy countered, "@thecasualathlete thank god, you finally replied to something. Apparently this IS what it took. Yikes! And #stayclassy?! Good one!"

Zach and Mindy's marriage started going downhill during their Panama honeymoon, when Zach told his wife multiple times he wasn't attracted to her.

Not only did Zach allegedly avoid spending time with Mindy off-camera, but he even refused to move into an apartment with her following the Married at First Sight couple's honeymoon.

Mindy then caught Zach in lies and lost all trust in him, which was the end of the road for them as a couple.

After a tumultuous and emotional journey, Mindy dumped Zach and asked for a divorce nearly two weeks before "Decision Day" because he had put little-to-no effort into their relationship and had engaged in an inappropriate and disrespectful friendship with Mindy's pal Lindsay behind her back.

Following Mindy's unsurprising decision to split from Zach, she threw herself a divorce party and gushed about how she had found an inner strength she never knew existed before.

Mindy revealed on Married at First Sight's tenth-season reunion special that aired in April she was starting to date again but predicted it would be "a little while" before she'd get involved with another serious relationship.

Married at First Sight is currently airing its eleventh season Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
