Married at First Sight star Emily has discredited Austin's romantic efforts in his marriage and also called him out for allegedly making Becca feel bad about herself in the bedroom.

On Married at First Sight's seventeenth season, Becca has been ready to have sex with Austin for weeks, and she's been patiently waiting for her husband to get on the same page.

Austin, a religious Christian man, told his wife that he wanted to build a strong emotional connection with Becca before being intimate, but once more than a month of time elapsed, Austin suddenly felt pressure to do the deed, which he feared was going to taint the couple's first time.

During Married at First Sight: Afterparty, which aired Wednesday night on Lifetime, Austin and Emily watched back a Season 17 clip of Austin and Becca sitting down for a therapy session with MAFS expert, Dr. Pia Holec.

"I desire him, and for me, it's hard to understand how he could desire me and then also not want to show it," Becca says in the clip.

"Yeah, no, I know," Austin replies.

"I think he's hot!" Becca adds.

Dr. Pia notes to Becca, "You're ready," and Becca confirms, "Oh yeah."

Becca adds, "I'm even ready for just, like, a longer makeout every now and then. I don't need, like, [sex]."

"But we've been doing that," Austin interjects. "We've been doing it more. [But] it hasn't been that much recently."

Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam asked Austin to reveal his typical timeline for having sex when he's dating someone based on his past relationships.

"I'd say three to six months from the beginning," Austin revealed.

"Why didn't you share that with Dr. Pia?" Emily asked Austin. "And did you communicate that to Becca?"

"I thought we were on the same page about that," Austin replied.

Keshia proceeded to ask Emily what Becca has shared with her given they're friends.

"Becca and I are sharing everything all the time, but we can hear them above us, because they're living above us," Emily said.

"That's awkward. I didn't know that!" Austin interjected.

Emily told Austin how she could hear that obstacle-course trust exercise Becca and Austin had done in their apartment.

"I was like, 'What's going on up there?!' But she was really upset about Austin's comment when she was trying some foreplay in bed, and he pushed her off and said, like..." Emily began.

"I wouldn't say I pushed her off!" Austin countered.

"You made her feel bad about putting herself out there," Emily argued.

Austin explained how he was "joking" around at the time, adding, "It was a joke to me. It wasn't like I pushed her off or anything like that."

"It's not like you pushed her," Emily agreed, "but you were just like, 'Get off me, horny girl!' And for a girl who's putting herself out there and trying to fix the marriage, I just know that that really hurt her feelings."

Austin then pointed out how Becca wasn't "always the one initiating" in their marriage.

"I do initiate. I'm actively trying to fix it by doing this!" Austin claimed.

But Emily wasn't buying it. She flat out asked Austin what or how he initiated.

"You want the details?" Austin asked with a laugh.

"Yeah, I do!" Emily pressed.

Austin told Emily that he didn't feel comfortable going into the details with her, and Emily asked, "Why not?"

"Because I'm a private person and I don't really, like, want to talk about that," Austin said.

"We're on TV," Emily griped.

"Exactly," Austin firmly stated. "That's why I don't want to talk about it."

Keshia announced how every cast member on Married at First Sight has the right to choose how much he or she would like to disclose.

Austin went on to say how putting pressure on guys to be intimate is "never good" for a relationship.

"That is a harbor of issues," Austin said.

Married at First Sight: Afterparty proceeded to show another clip of Austin surprising Becca with a room full of candles, rose petals and Polaroid photos of them as a couple. It appeared on Married at First Sight's latest episode that Austin was ready to consummate his marriage.

After doing some emotional foreplay with Becca, Austin actually asked his wife, "Do you want to do the other thing now -- the play? THE play?"

Keshia asked Austin on Afterparty about the sexy and romantic evening, and he said it was "great" and "a lot of fun."

Austin said it was great to be "moving in that direction" of having sex, but Emily was noticeably making a face of frustration.

"I'm just taking it in, like, rose petals and candles -- that is obviously set up by not just Austin but by, like, other people," Emily claimed, seemingly referring to Married at First Sight producers.

Keshia appeared shocked by Emily spilling Austin and Becca's tea, and Emily continued, "Also, I heard after this that nothing happened right after this romantic night."

Austin defended himself and announced, "Not exactly. We fooled around, yes. We still didn't have sex, but, like, we progressed in that arena from before."

Austin also clarified that while the cast received helped "from the outside," he was the one who came up with the idea for the romantic-bedroom display.

"I was the one who was like, 'Hey, get flower petals, get candles, and get this stuff," Austin insisted. "This was my [doing]."

Emily, however, was skeptical of Austin once again and asked with a prideful smile on her face, "Are you sure those rose petals and candles were your idea?"

"Yeah," Austin responded.

"Okay," Emily noted with a tone of disbelief and attitude in her voice.

But at the end of the day, Austin shared how he was trying to work through his intimacy issues with Becca and show his wife that he was truly trying to progress things.

"I just hope that she recognizes that," Austin concluded on Afterparty.
